Abhaas Mehta set to quit Zee TV’s Dastaan

Abhaas Mehta, better known as Agastya in Zee TV’s Badalte Rishton Ki Dastaan (Ravi Ojha Productions), is undoubtedly a very talented actor. As a matter of fact, he has been appreciated by one and all for his negative avatar in Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon.

However, it looks like the audiences won’t get to see much of this artiste in Dastaan anymore.

If you’re wondering why, let us tell you that the actor is about to put down his papers sometime this or next month as he isn’t happy with his character graph in the show.

In fact, a source went on to reveal, “Abhaas was assured of a certain number of days for shooting, but his days aren’t being used now and neither is his character shaping up as promised. Therefore, the actor has planned to move out of the project. In fact, he has already spoken to the production. They have assured to relieve him in a month or two.”

While Abhaas refused to comment, producer Mitali Ojha remained unavailable for comment.

We also buzzed a channel personnel but did not receive any comment.
