Aarti Singh: The thought of tomorrow being Parichay’s last shooting day gives me goose bumps!
It’s a very emotional moment for the cast and crew of Colors’ Parichay, as after a good run of 400 episodes, they shoot the last tomorrow (7 March 2013).
In a conversation with us, Aarti Singh better-known as Seema in the show talks about her journey and the end…
“After Grihasti, I think Parichay is one show that I loved being a part of as I have some amazing co-stars working with me here,” says the actress.
“Parichay has given me a lot of recognition, lot more than what my lead show Thoda Hai Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai gave me,” she further adds.
When we asked her of her opinion about her co-star Samir Soni mulling to come up with the second season of Parichay, she observes, “I’ll be very happy if Samir does that, but him making the show will take a longer time than the channel and the production house. So, if the channel takes the initiative, things can happen faster. But, I must confess that Samir loves the show a lot.”
When asked about the people she will miss on the show, she promptly replies, “By now, everybody knows me in and out. They know when I am upset and know exactly when to stop me from talking. At times, they have forgiven me for my mistakes; they were my family on the sets.”
Since, tomorrow is their last day of shoot, we asked the actress about her feelings for the last day to which she maintains, “The thought of it being the last day gives me goose bumps. I just do not want to look at it that way.”
Lastly, she wishes that her co-stars would be with her in the next project she’d take up. “I want at least two of my co-stars to join me in my next show to make me feel more comfortable.”
Awww that’s so sweet!
