Aarti Puri to star in Prabhu Deva’s next

Yes, you heard it right!

This pretty actress from the South, who made it into the television industry with Saurabh Tewari’s Madhubala, is now set to capture the silver screen.

As per a reliable source, the actress has bagged Prabhu Deva’s next that stars well-known faces like Vinod Khanna and Sonu Sood amongst others. Aarti will be seen playing a pivotal role in this movie.

The shooting for the film that began on 11 September will reportedly wrap up sometime this month.

Does this mean that the actress will call it quits from her current show?

Well, the answer is a big “no”. Since the current track is more focused on Madhu (Drashti Dhami) and RK (Vivian Dsena), Aarti has very little to do. At the same time, the actress has no plans to quit the show, says a source close to her. In fact, the source further goes on to add that the production team has been very supportive of Aarti’s Bollywood venture and they adjust her shoot timing according to her film.

Now that’s cool and very supportive, we must add.

When we got in touch with Aarti, she refused to comment on the same.
