Next day Tatya is playing. Aayi thanks God and tells that Tatya is fine because of Kulkarni and blames Sai. Tatya tells them that he didn’t get wound because of Rano ji, but because he went to jungle and got wound. Appa asks Aayi what Kulkarni will do with Sai. She says she told him truth. Bai Sa gets worried. Rano ji asks Sai if it was miracle which he saw yesterday and asks him to tell when he will be fine. Sai asks not to worry about tomorrow. Rano says he has disease, pain etc now. Sai says will to get fine too and asks to decide what to choose, will power to get fine, or pain/disease. He says ghee finished for the bandage. Just then Bai Sa and Appa come there. They tell that Kulkarni came to know that Rano ji is here, and he will not be quiet now. Anta tells Villagers that Sai kept Rano ji at
his place. Villagers say Sai will be affected first, some say he shouldn’t have kept him, what is his advantage. Kulkarni comes there and tells when people gets such diseases, they go to dhongi babas and then he will be benefitted. He says Sai will benefit if more villagers get prone to diseases. He scares them by describing the illness. He says I can’t protect such persons.
Rano ji tells Sai that now he shall go. Sai says if you run away from here, then fear will never go from people’s mind about this disease and many patients will be treated badly. He asks Bai Sa to give some ghee for Rano ji’s bandage. She says she will give.
Kulkarni asks villagers to do needful and tells that he thought about the welfare. Villagers say we will not leave Sai or Rano ji. Rano ji asks Sai how can he be so relieved. Sai says this is the time to make them understand that they have no danger with you or your illness. Rano ji is surprised. Kulkarni along with angry crowd are going to Sai’s place. The villagers say that they will not spare Sai and Rano ji. Bai Sa and Appa get worry. Rano ji asks how can you sit quietly and gets worried hearing people shouting. He says they will not leave me. Sai asks what you used to do. Rano ji says I used to weave blanket and asks can you hear what villagers are saying. Sai asks him to make blanket for him. Villagers are coming towards there holding lathis. Rano ji asks him to show some miracle now. He sits hiding his face. All villagers stand outside Sai’s place. Rano asks Sai to show some miracle. Sai says anger, fear, hatred, etc shall go from people’s heart. He says whatever happen will be good today.
Rano ji’s bhabhi asks kaveri to throw left over clothes of Rano ji. His brother comes there and tells that villagers went to Sai’s place to kill Rano ji and Sai. Kaveri gets shocked and says she wants to go there. She runs there. Anta asks villagers to kill them. Appa scolds them and tells that Sai had treated Kashi ram and have humanity and care for animals also. He says if it is a crime to treat patients. Kulkarni tells that Sai has done crime and haven’t informed you all that Rano ji is here and haven’t spared even your son. He says Sai has done a sin. Bai Sa is about to say. Kulkarni says your sasubai told me this and says we haven’t gathered here as we hate Sai or Rano ji, but because we are worried for shirdi. He says it is his duty to alert shirdi. Anta and Banta look at Sai and calls him fraud. Villager asks if he wants to see everyone dying with the same disease.
Sai says your fear is baseless and says this disease increases if treatment is not given. Rano ji thinks if he is dying today then he shall see Kaveri once. Sai asks the villagers to meet Rano ji and come inside. Rano ji is shocked. Kulkarni signs Banta. Banta asks Sai to leave. Sai ask if they want to beat him with lathis and for that they have to enter the place. Kulkarni signs banta at stone. Banta says we will throw stones. Sai asks them to beat him first. Anta asks him not to force villagers. Bai Sa says it is a crime to beat bairagi.
Villagers asks Sai if he don’t love Shirdi. Sai says he loves Shirdi and that’s why can’t leave from here and tells about promising Bai Sa. He tells that he will free people from every fear. Appa ji asks them to believe Sai. Anta says when Kulkarni said that treatment can’t happen then it can’t happen. Appa says Kulkarni haven’t treated any leprosy patient before. Kulkarni says he saw Rano ji late at night. Sai says Rano ji went to see his wife once. Bai says Rano ji will not step out from here. Kulkarni says what about Sai, as he goes to every house for charity. Bai Sa says I will bring food for him. Sai says it is my dharm and I have to ask charity.
Kulkarni says now there is one solution, I shall leave Shirdi as I can’t see my people getting affected by the disease. He folds his hands and says he will leave. He asks Anta and Banta to pack his stuff. Villager says if you leave Shirdi, then who will treat us. Kulkarni asks if he feels his pain. Other villager asks him to tell what they shall do. Kulkarni asks them to stop favoring Sai and asks them to decide the punishment for the people who is supporting Sai. Villager tells that Appa ji and his family will be ignored by the society and nobody will talk to them. Appa ji and Bai Sa are shocked.
