Preeti is talking to Naina, but she’s lost in recalling Sameer’s landline number. She’s searching for something. Chachi asks what she’s searching. Naina says she’s looking for phone directory. Narrator says in today’s time, no one uses phone directory, but back then, it was very handy. Chachi asks who she wants to talk to? Naina says, no one. Launderer comes in and Naina gets saved from further questioning. Naina is so anxious to figure out Sameer’s number that she uses phone with Chachi being there only. Chachi is busy with launderer and Naina starts dialing by adding a random number at the end. She tries all 1 to 8 numbers, but no luck so far. She tries last number and finally it’s Sameer who picks up. Naina gets happy hearing his voice.

She hangs and dances in joy. She realizes Chachi is there only and hits herself on head.
Naina’s dad and Taiji meet in market. Naina’s dad shows off saying he is paying extra for his name plate. Taiji taunts that cabin is not ready and he’s already buying name plate.

Chachi wants to call someone for Puja’s rishta. She asks Naina to dial for her. Chachi doesn’t remember number. She tells Naina to use redial as that’s where she called last. Naina doesn’t know what to do. She presses redial. Sameer’s Nanu picks up the call. Chachi asks for Mrs. Dhut. Nanu says no Dhut lives there. Chachi asks then where she lives. Nanu asks how he would know. Sameer asks Nanu to calm down and takes the phone. He talks in English. Chachi asks Naina whether they called to America, someone is speaking such a fast English. She asks her to talk. Sameer asks is anyone there? Naina is blushing. Chachi asks her to talk. Sameer hangs. Chachi asks what he said? She says wrong number. Chachi says that’s all he said in that long time? And asks why she was quiet. Naina says line was not clear. Chachi gets frustrated and leaves.

Sameer is getting late for exam. He parks his bike on Naina’s dad spot despite his friends warning him. Naina’s dad comes and asks him to move his bike, but they run off. His colleagues come and say bike won’t move and his cabin plan is also cancelled as they are making parking lot there. They put blame on Sameer as he’s competing with Arjun and wanted to take revenge so he must have talked to his Nanu. Narrator says, her dad was never going to get cabin. His colleagues just joked to trouble him and this joke will now create troubles in her love story.

Sameer walks in class. Naina is filling ink in her pen. She watches him and by mistake ink goes on his shirt. She says sorry to him. Sameer says it’s ok. She asks they are going to study today, right? He asks if she can stay after school as he has to do sports practice as well. She nods ok. Sameer says once he becomes head boy, he will do what she says. She asks whatever she says? He says yes.

Sameer brings food in library. Naina says it’s not allowed. He says he likes to break rules and who will complain? She won’t complain about him, right? He gives her candy as fees to teach him. She also starts eating in library. They start studying. Sameer is impressed what other tutor couldn’t teach him in 2 hours, she taught him in 2 minutes. He says I love… and then stops and says thank you Naina. He leaves. He comes back and says she won’t wish him best of luck? It’s very important for him to become head boy. She wishes him best and says they can study longer from tomorrow.

Taiji and Chachi find out from name plate shop that Naina’s dad returned name plate saying no cabin is being buit.

Naina meets Shefali. Shefali asks what happened with her friend. Naina says she no longer has to leave her school. Shefali says that means boy loves her too? Naina says, don’t know, but they have started studying together now.

Taiji and Chachi make fun of Naina’s dad. He says he gave up his cabin space because teachers are having problem parking their bikes. Arjun comes. His dad says he has to make him proud by winning head boy competition and also teach a lesson to spoiled brat Sameer. Naina hears it.

Narrator Naina says, one side was Sameer, other side her brother and she wanted both to win.

Precap: Naina tells Sameer on phone that she got late, but she’s coming. She asks him to study a chapter and she will come soon. Naina’s dad hears it.
