The Episode starts with Sonu bringing tea and breakfast for Vinod. Vinod is happy. She asks him to read newspaper. Vinod says who reads newspaper when he has a good wife at his side. Sonu insists him to read newspaper. He reads general news. Sonu asks him to read good news. Vinod sees perfect husband contest and thinks Sonu wants him to participate. He tells her that he will read newspaper in bathroom. Sonu asks him to see page no. 2. Apsara comes infront of him dressed as yamraj. She asks him to participate for Sonu. Vinod says he don’t want to participate and don’t want to prove that he is a perfect husband. Bunno asks papa ji to take part in the contest and says there is no age limit. Anju taunts him. Papa ji says he is still handsome. Anju says his hairs have gone, and if I stand with him,
then he might look good. Kanno asks are you ready to take part in the contest. Anju says we shall compete strongly. Bunno asks him to participate. Papa ji refuses. Bunno asks him to reconsider.

Sonu asks Vinod if he read the advertisement and asks if he agrees. Vinod gives her chit in which it is written that he has kept maun vrat till 4 pm. Sonu calls Rasika. Rasika asks what did Vinod say? Rasika understands that Vinod is not interested to take part even this year. Sonu asks where is Papa? Rasika says if Vinod is a perfect husband then only he can take part. Vinod tells mishra ji what he will do after 4 pm. Vinod says he don’t know. Gulati says if you will feel good to lose. Vinod gives best wishes to Mishra ji and goes to take the class.

Papa ji goes to register for the contest. Jyoti tells that it is not for old age people. He says he came to take part in the contest. The receptionist asks Papa ji about his name. He tells Manohar khanna. Man asks about his wife’s name. Papa ji asks him to note down his second wife’s name as his first wife is not good. Jyoti hears him and comes to Sonu’s house.

She asks Anju if she saw sautan related films. Anju says no. Dadi asks did you see films related to gossip. Jyoti says no and says her husband will win this time too. He tells that manohar uncle came there and asked man if he can write second wife’s name. Anju is shocked and cries. Sonu asks what you are saying? Jyoti says she heard him saying and says she doesn’t know that he has a second wife also. Anju cries and tells Dadi about her other bahu. Dadi tells that she will discharge his battery.

Papa ji comes home. Dadi asks why did you remarry? Anju cries and asks Kanno to ask about the second woman. Kanno asks him to tell. Vinod comes home. Anju hugs him and cries informing him about Papa ji’s second wife. Papa ji shows the registration form and says Anju Khanna is written on it. Anju gets relaxed and goes. Sonu asks Vinod to agree and says lets participate. Vinod says we can, but we will not. He says we can’t compete with Papa ji and mummy ji. He asks her to understand. Sonu says you are saying right. Sonu thinks of rasika’s words. He turns and sees tears in Sonu’s eyes. He hears her thoughts. She thinks she wants to prove to her mum that Vinod is not a coward and is a perfect husband. He tells Sonu that he will register in the contest and promises to win the title. Sonu smiles.
