Not Rafi, but Fahad Ali to enter Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta…
Director’s Kut’s long-running show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus has been doing really great on the ratings chart. Rocketing to the #2 position on the chart, the show has been working wonders with the audience.
We had recently reported about Tere Sheher Main fame Rafi Malik entering the show.
We now hear that it will not be Rafi, instead it will be The Buddy Project fame Fahad Ali playing the role now.
As per sources, “Rafi could not take up the role at the last minute owing to some personal commitments. And it will be Fahad playing the happy-go-lucky character of the army officer who will be the childhood friend of Gayu (Kanchi Singh). The guy will be very much in love with her, and will want to marry her.”
When contacted, Fahad promised to call us back, but did not revert to our question on his entry.
We tried buzzing Producer Rajan Shahi, but could not get through to him.
Our efforts to reach out to the channel spokesperson were futile.
