Ssara Khan to replace Maheck in Colors’ Kavach

Here is a shocking late night update for all our dear viewers…

We was the first to inform you about Maheck Chahal’sprobable exit from Colors’ Kavach (Read story here).

And finally our forecast has come true, as the pretty and vivacious Ssara Khan has replaced the actress.

Maheck who was more than excited with her debut on TV, was left with a hard time after she met with an accident, tearing a ligament in her leg.

The Balaji Telefilms’ erotic horror series was left in a lurch with Maheck aka the main antagonist Manjulika not in a position to shoot.

As per source, “Maheck tried hard to be on her sets and continue with the shoots, but it was becoming really challenging for her. With TV demanding a 24X7 availability, Balaji decided on replacing Maheck.”

And there came in Ssara Khan who will now step into the role of the sexy aatma. She has already started shooting and her entry will air soon.

Kavach also stars Mona Singh and Vivek Dahiya in the leads.

This would be Ssara’s debut with Balaji Telefilms. She is currently also part of Akbar Birbal. The actress rose to fame with her serials Bidaai, Ram Milayi Jodi, Sasural SImar Ka, Bhagyalakshmi and more.

She also had a successful stint in the reality zone with Bigg Boss. Ssara’s marriage on national TV with then boyfriend Ali Merchant in the Bigg Boss house also created quite a furor.

When we called Ssara she declined the buzz.

We could not reach Maheck for a comment.
