Joyoshree Arora back to TV with Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum

Veteran actress Joyoshree Arora, better known as Bhagwanti of the yester-year popular TV series Humlog will now be back on the TV screens.

She was last seen playing the grand mother of actor Piyush Sahdev in Zee TV’s Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, and then went on to give her voice-over for the Zee TV show Hello Pratibha.

Well, the elegant actress will now be back with Star Plus’ popular show, Diya Aur Baati Hum (Shashi Sumeet Productions).

Yes, she will be seen in a prime role in the new family entering!!

We have been exclusively reporting about the new-age love track to start in the show, between the grownup Chhotu (Kunal Khosla) and the new girl Arzoo, essayed by Prachi Tehlan.We also wrote about Bhuvan Chopra and Rukhsar Rehman essaying the roles of ‘chacha and chachi’ to Arzoo.

We now hear that Joyoshree has been roped in to play the grand mother of Arzoo.

As per reliable sources, “Joyoshree’s character of Resham and Arzoo will have a cute bonding, and would be living in Pakistan. Resham will decide to come to India to meet her close friend, from the Rathi family. And here will begin a new journey for Arzoo, which will take her to the doorstep of love.”

When contacted, Joyoshree told us, “Yes, I am entering Diya Aur Baati Hum. I have watched the show and I am glad to be joining a show of huge popularity. I play the dadi of Arzoo, and we will be shown having a great onscreen bond.”
