Monica Khanna to pair up with Ankit Bathla in Thapki

Post the success of Pyaar Ka Dard Hai, pretty actor, Monica Khanna, is back on the small screen, bagging another prominent role in Colors’ Thapki (SOL & Shoonya Square).

With the makers churning out the track of love triangle between Thapki (Jigyasa Singh), Bihaan (Manish Goplani) and Dhruv (Ankit Bathla), Monica’s entry as Shraddha, will spice up the drama some more.

We hear from a source that for Shraddha’s lovely and chirpy nature, Vasundhara (Jaya Bhattyacharya) will try to fix a match with her son Dhruv. On the other hand, Dhruv, in order to make Thapki jealous will play along.

When contacted, Monica confirming the development, commented, “My character will be of a very positive and talkative young woman, from army background. The best part about the team is that even on the very first day, they didn’t make me realize that I am a newcomer in their gang. They welcomed me with wide open arms”.

We are pretty sure that Monica’s arrival will surely make the show even more entertaining.
