Rajesh Puri roped in for Zee TV’s Kala Tikkak

Veteran actor Rajesh Puri needs no introduction. Even today, he is fondly remembered for his role of ‘Lalloo Prasad’ in DD’s Hum Log. A veteran with many movies and TV shows to his name, Rajesh Puri was recently seen in a cameo role in Yum Hai Hum.

Now, he will get back to daily soaps with DJ’s – A Creative Unit’s upcoming Zee TV show, Kala Tikka.

Yes, you heard it right!! Rajesh has had a great association with the production house, with him having played a strong role in their hit Sony show, Parrvarish. In Kala Tikka, he will be essaying a strong role, that of the Raj Purohit who would be a close support system of the main family.

As per reliable sources, “Rajesh Puri will be the good Samaritan, the Raj Purohit to whom the family would run for guidance at every step. The purohit’s suggestions will always be taken by the family, for all the good and bad that happen around them. His character will have mixed shades.”

When contacted, Rajesh Puri confirmed the news saying, “Yes, it is great to be back with DJ’s after Parrvarish. This is yet another strong role for me, and I am given a good look too.”

As we know, Daljeet Kaur and Bhupinder Singh will be part of the show. Actors Mita Vashisht, Urvashi Upadhyay will also play pivotal roles.
