D3’s ‘Sharon’, Vrushika Mehta is the new lead in Zee TV’s Satrangi Sasural

Fans of Dil Dosti Dance, especially of the lovely Sharon aka Vrushika Mehta, can now raise a toast!!

Yes, Vrushika will soon be back on the small screen in a new avatar!!

News coming in is that Vrushika has been roped in to play the lead opposite Ravish Desai in Zee TV’s show, Satrangi Sasural (24 Frames).

As per reliable sources, “Sana Amin Sheikh was finalized earlier, but the girl had opted for another show. The makers then wanted to cast an apt face to provide freshness in the show. Now, Vrushika has been zeroed in, and she will play the character of Kaira who will go on to be Vihaan’s love interest.”

If sources are to be believed, Vrushika will start shoot from today (16 September).

When contacted, Vrushika asked us to call her later.

We tried reaching out to Producer Bhairavi Raichura, and the channel spokesperson, but did not get any confirmation till the time we filed the story. We will immediately update here if we hear from them.

As we know, Satrangi Sasural is headed for a leap of five years after the demise of the female lead, Aarushi played by Mugdha Chapekar.
