Jhalak Dikhla Jaa (Season 8) 5th September 2015 Written Episode

Shahid does Karan’s puja as he was TRP guru by his unique things. Shahid and Manish take Karan’s blessings. Malaika Arora Khan makes an entry on dances with Manish. Manish welcomes everyone in Jhalak Reloaded. Malaika joins as a judge in Karan;s place. This is the 9th week of Jhalak and the theme “Ek Main Aur Ek Tu’’ today is dancing with competitors, not their choreographers. He announces the jodis, Sanaya and Mohit, Raftaar and Faisal, Scarlett and Shamita. Mohit is safe this week as he has immunity ball. Manish starts the first round and calls upon Raftaar and Faisal for their act.

Raftaar and Faisal
Dance Form: Kalaripayattu/Freestyle
They dance on the song Kar Ja Re Ya Mar Ja Re ………..from the movie ABCD.
Judges’ comments:
Shahid: Seeing Raftaar and Faisal perform together was amazing, Raftaar is non dancer and Faisal is an dance winner, they both complimented each other, and gives them a standing ovation.
Ganesh: This was my idea to pair contestants, when competitors come together, they don’t overshadow, the act had calm energy, it was very nice, Sneha and Vivek very good act, this is not usual style, I liked this a lot.

Lauren: You both are most powerful dancers, Raftaar proved his strength, Faisal danced like a man today.
Malaika: I m happy seeing this act to start, I thought Raftaar did more, it was brilliant.
Scores: Lauren 10, Shahid 10, Malaika 9, Ganesh 9. Total 38.

Scarlett and Shamita
Dance Form: Bollywood
They dance on the song Dola re…………. from the movie Devdas.

Judges’ comments:
Shahid: I have to give standing ovation again. I know when two girls dance together, what happens, You guys were the stars, the way you performed and in sync, this was challenging for Scarlett, I was impressed she worked on her impressions, because Shamita got perfect expressions, I loved this about her, it reminded me of the film.
Malaika: It think you all were brilliant, the ending was unbelievable and gives them a standing ovation. It was truly a wow dance.
Ganesh: Scarlett and Shamita have danced well, hats off to Deepak and Dhiraj.
Lauren: This is my fav Bollywood song, it was beautiful.
Scores: Lauren 10, Shahid 10, Malaika 10, Ganesh 10. Total 40.
Shahid makes a surprise caller talk to Malaika. Karan Johar talks to her.

Sanaya and Mohit
Dance Form: Freestyle
They dance on the song Chahun mai ya nai………… from the movie Aashiqui 2.

Judges’ comments:
Malaika: I really enjoyed it, your form may not be perfect, but its something sweet about it, you are actors, it had acting and emotions.
Shahid: The best thing about you two are you are likeable people, I smile seeing you both, the act was very well.
Ganesh: Jai and Marishcha it was nice act, Sanaya and Mothi did well.
Lauren: This was perfect partnership, made for each other, the act was romantic and beautiful, I liked it.
Scores: Lauren 10, Shahid 9, Malaika 8, Ganesh 9. Total 36.

Round one ends here, and now round 2 of Costume hungama starts, where celebrities shows fancy costumes and dance. Mohit will not face elimination. He says Raftaar and Scarlett are the bottom two scores and will be doing Jaan Ke liye dance.

Raftaar and Sneha
Dance Form: Kathakali
They dance on the song Dilli Wali girlfriend………… from the movie Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.

Scarlett and Dhiraj
Dance Form: Freestyle
They dance on the song Muskaanein Jhooti Hai …… from the movie Talaash.

Judges’ comments:
Shahid: I m upset with the choreographers, I did not like concepts, this was not a good act.
Malaika: I liked concepts, it was costume drama.
Scores for Raftaar: Lauren 8, Shahid 8, Malaika 8, Ganesh 8. Total 32.
Scores for Scarlett: Lauren 9, Shahid 9, Malaika 9, Ganesh 9. Total 36.
Raftaar and Sneha get eliminated in the show.
