Surekha Sikri to have a ‘stunning’ entry in Zee TV’s Ek Tha Raja

Veteran actress Surekha Sikri is all set for a ‘royal’ entry in Zee TV’s Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani (Sphere Origins) this week.

As we know, she plays the character of Badi Rani Maa, the grandmother of Ranaji (Siddhant Karnick).

If sources are to be believed, her entry will add a new dimension to the story line, with the special bonding between her and Ranaji being revealed.

Surekha’s introductory sequence will be a stunner for the audience, as she will be seen living in a tent nearby a lake. The regal lady will have three pet dogs as her confidantes, and would have pined all along to see her pet grandson, Ranaji.

As per a reliable source, “Badi Rani Maa who would be very close to Ranaji would have chosen to leave the palace, and stay alone near the lake all by herself. Now with Ranaji being back from the war, he would want to get his grandmother back to the palace. Ranaji will go near the lake to meet his grandmother to convince her to get back; this will be when their special bond will come to the fore.”

We hear that Surekha’s character will be so very different, from her earlier roles in Balika Vadhu and Mahakumbh. She will have a sense of humour in her, and this will be very much seen when the lady will be with her closest, Ranaji.

We also hear that her pet dogs will also in a way go to attack Ranaji, when the daring lady will enter to save him.
