Pankhuri Awasthy learns horse-riding for Razia Sultan; exhausted!

Playing her part of Razia Sultan in &TV’s historical Razia Sultan hasn’t been cakewalk for the protagonist Pankhuri Awasthy.

Hardworking that she is, the lady not only has put in a lot of hard work in terms of her acting but also proved her worth by donning heavy outfits with the wield of swords. Not only that, Pankhuri is also learning horse riding!

With so much of physical strain, the actor recently was too drained while shooting and was exhausted.

A source informed, “Pankhuri being the lead has maximum number of scenes in each episode, which means she ends up shooting all the time. Shooting for Razia Sultan leaves her completely exhausted but she has no choice but to give in to her demanding schedule and she is doing it sportingly.”

When we contacted Pankhuri to confirm the same, she said, “It’s a part of the job. I was always aware this is how it would be and I still signed up for it. While I can’t complain, it does get extremely exhausting. But I’m learning a lot and still having fun.”

With regards to learning horse-riding the actor stated, “I never rode a horse before I joined this show. And I have found that it’s quite thrilling so I’m always happy when I have to go for a riding lesson or practice session.”
