I always aim for brilliance as an actor – Varun Kapoor
Actor Varun Kapoor who got into the limelight with roles in Na Aana Is Des Laado, Saraswatichandra is seen in a rather complex character of Sanskaar in Colors’ show, Swaragini.
Well, this is the first time that Varun has been essaying such a role, as most of his earlier roles gave him the simple chocolate boy look.
For viewers following the show avidly, Sanskaar will appear to have negative streaks in him. However, Varun refuses to believe that Sanskaar is anywhere close to being evil.
Says Varun, “For me, Sanskaar is not negative. Yes, the audience does not know the whole past story till now, but whatever Sanskaar has been doing are quite justifiable. He is a man who has lost his soul mate, and the people responsible for it have been his own family. I am waiting for the day when the story will reach its next phase, wherein all my actions will be justified in front of the audience.”
Ask Varun whether this character will be his best so far, and the actor promptly conveys, “I always aim for brilliance, and if you ask me whether I have attained it, my answer will be ‘No’. I will say there is always room for improvement. I want to be known as a learning actor, and learning can never cease.”
Varun, we wish you all the best…
