Reality and fiction both shows have their pros and cons : Nandish Sandhu
Handsome hunk Nandish Sandhu, is in talks with us about his new reality show, association with Balaji and much more…
Talented actor Nandish Sandhu, who is all set to showcase his dancing abilities on the small screen through Balaji Telefilms’ newly launched reality show Nach Baliye 7, is excited for his new venture.
In conversation with us, Nandish speaks about taking up Nach Baliye 7, his Baliye ‘Rashmi’ and association with Balaji.
Let’s see what Nandish has to say :-
You are doing reality shows back to back; does this format of television interests you more than daily soaps?
Reality and fiction shows both have their pros and cons but reality shows definitely gives me an adrenaline rush. Plus, our viewers get to connect with us as the individuals we are rather than a character. There is no dragging on as reality is a shorter stint and hence I am enjoying reality TV currently but that doesn’t mean I am not open to daily soaps. The character, story, etc. all has to be right for me to take up a fiction show.
Ekta Kapoor is one of the biggest producers on Television, how excited are you to be associated with her?
I am extremely excited to work with Balaji once again. Ekta Kapoor is known to create quality content and is by far the biggest producer television has had in the last few decades. I am sure there are a lot of surprises in store for us.
This is the first time you are participating in a dancing reality show, how well versed are you with dancing?
Honestly, I am not a great dancer and hence participating in this show is like a challenge. Hopefully, I get to learn a lot and by the end of the show I am hoping to have become a decent dancer.
As Rashmi Desai is a very good dancer, does that make you more confident or more nervous?
A little bit of both. I am glad my partner will give a lot of the other jodis a run for their money but at the same time I need to match up to her so that as a Jodi we shine.
Which dance forms are you keen on learning from your choreographers?
I am keen on learning all dance forms as I want to come out of Nach Baliye having learned as much dance as possible.
Lastly, this season of Nach Baliye states too much, what ‘too much’ are you expecting from the show?
I am expecting ‘too much’ fun as this year it’s a completely revived show under Balaji.
Well Nandish we wish you a good luck for your endeavor!
