Parvati to join Shivaye in Zee TV’s Neeli Chhatri Wale!

ZEE TV’s popular weekend light-hearted drama Neeli Chatri Waale has struck a chord with audience with its unique concept of a friendship between man and God – The conversations between its lead protagonist Bhagwan Das, the quintessential common man and a modern-day Lord Shivaye wielding the blue umbrella bring a smile to the viewer’s faces. While Shivaye has fast become a friend, philosopher and guide to Bhagwan Das, the show now sees the entry of Parvati, his wife!

Actress Nivedita Tiwari, last seen in Zee TV’s Bhagonwali – Baante Apni Taqdeer, has been roped in to play the role. Yes, along with the contemporary Shivaye, Parvati who is known as Adi Shakti of the lord is going to be seen as a woman next door.

Nivedita says, “This is my second innings on Zee TV and it has been a great association ever since my previous show Bhagonwali. I have portrayed the role of a girl next door before but now playing Goddess Parvati who takes on the form of a woman of today and befriends the quintessential common man is quite a transition. I think the concept is most intriguing and quite a departure from anything I have played before. I really love the uniqueness of the concept.”

The relationship between Shivaye and Parvati is about to present a unique flavour and a new dimension to the show but the biggest question still remains unanswered as to who among Bhagwandas, Bobby and other members of the Choubey family will be able to interact with Parvati in the same manner how Bhagwandas does with Shivaye?
