Prerna Wanvari in Channel V’s Gumrah

Channel V’s popular show Gumrah (Keylight Productions) has successfully created awareness among the masses about juvenile crimes. And in the upcoming episodes another story of a young girl will leave everyone in shock.

And for this upcoming sequence popular actor Prerna Wanvari who will for the first time don the avatar of a young mother.

A source shared, “This particular sequence will be the story of a young stepmother-daughter, who will fall for the same guy. Neglected by her husband, who works for merchant navy and unaware about the fact that the young lad is her daughter’s boyfriend the mother will fall in love with the same boy. And the young man would in turn reciprocate her love by breaking up with the daughter”.

“This will hurt the young girl so much that she would take up an extreme step of killing the young guy for revenge. Though initially she will not intend to kill her boyfriend, eventually she will end up killing him”, added the source.

When we got in touch with actress Prerna Wanvari she confirmed the news and mentioned, “Definitely it was a bit challenging to essay the role of a young stepmom, but at the same time it was nice to be considered for this exciting role.”

The role of the young daughter will be played by newcomer Jovita.
