Aryan Sharma takes a break from daily soaps post Diya Aur Baati Hum!
Shashi Sumeet Mittal’s popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum (Star Plus), which is soon be taking a leap of five years is welcoming new entrants to the show.
Aryan Sharma who has won audience’ heart by essaying the character of Chotu will no more be a part of the show post leap. The young lad is taking a break from doing daily soaps and has plans to focus on his higher studies.
We spoke to Aryan to know more about his future plans and also asked him about his memories associated with his team and the show.
Aryan says, “I am taking a break from daily soaps for my higher education because studies become tough in std. 9th and 10th and education is a must. If I will get an offer for movie or ads then I can take that up. I am not taking a break from the industry but only from daily soaps because it affects studies. I have worked with many production houses earlier but Shashi Sumeet Productions is the best one I have worked with. My studies have never been affected because of shooting. The production house has managed my shoots and school timings well. They used to keep my shooting schedules post my school timings. So, I am grateful and thankful to Shashi Sumeet Productions for this.”
When we asked Aryan whether he will miss being a part of the show, he said, “I will miss being a part of the show. This has been my first big show that has given me so much of recognition but I feel acting is more important than recognition. I have worked in this show for more than three years. I have brushed up my acting skills with this show. The directors, Rohit sir, Akash sir and Maqbool sir and my co-stars Anas bhaiya (Anas Rashid), Deepika didi (Deepika Singh), Bhabo (Neelu Vaghela), Bhabasa (Ashok Lokhande), Emily didi (Pooja Singh), Mohit Bhaiya (Varunn Jain) and everyone have helped me in brushing up my acting skills. They have taught me a lot of things and they are like my friends. Whenever I have gone wrong while acting, they have given acting tips to me and I also have taken advice from them before doing any major scene. Therefore, my scenes used to come out good on-screen and the audience have liked it.”
Recalling the memories associated with the show and his co-stars, Aryan shares, “The show had become like a family to me. We used to come on the sets to do acting but at the same time we used to enjoy a lot. We never felt bore to go to our sets; we used to eagerly wait to go to our sets so that we can enjoy. We sit together and eat together and have lots of fun. Bhabasa’s make up room is known as ‘Mad Room’ on the sets because all of us sit in his room and have lots of fun and we also get to learn a lot of things while we have fun. I will miss each and everyone on sets. When I was new on the sets then I used to interact with Bhabasa and when Emily didi joined the show then I became good friends with her and even I had a good bond with Mohit bhaiya right from the beginning. I have lots of good comic scenes with Meenakshi bhabhi (Kanika Maheshwari) and have been appreciated for it. I will miss them all and everything.”
Talking about his future plans, Aryan told us, “I will become a graduate and then I will join a good acting school. After completing studies, I will come back to acting as a main lead.”
All the best for your future endeavors Aryan!
