Sanjeeda Sheikh and Rashmi Desai dance up a storm on Zee TV’s Service Wali Bahu
Pre- wedding celebrations are in full swing at Dev’s (Abhishek Rawat) and Payal’s (Kratika Sengar) households on Zee TV’s popular primetime drama Service Wali Bahu (Village Boy Productions). Viewers can look forward to the wedding of the lead couple. Followed by their chekka (engagement ceremony), Jogeshwar Prasad (Atul Srivastava) invites special guests for Dev’s haldi ceremony and joining in the celebrations, television’s most loved actors Rashmi Desai and Sanjeeda Sheikh will regale audiences with their entertaining performances to the latest chartbusters.
Both the actors are known to be excellent dancers and yet again, they proved their versatility by learning the entire choreography within just a couple of hours and put up a fabulous performance at the haldi celebration. They are said to have danced their heart out to the song ‘Lovely ho gayee, Chitiya kalayian and Fashion khatam mujhpe’.
The gorgeous actors were quite excited to shoot for the sequence as they love dancing… “We had a wonderful time shooting for the dance sequence in Service Wali Bahu. It was a special Haldi performance and we enjoyed it to the core!” Says Rashmi. Sharing her excitement Sanjeeda adds “The songs we performed were so much fun which made the atmosphere on the sets so vibrant and energetic. In fact we only had a day to complete all the three songs but the entire cast and crew cheered for us which added on to our performance”
Abhishek Rawat who plays the lead Dev shares “After watching Rashmi and Sanjeeda’s wonderful performance, I so wanted to join them on stage but considering that my character Dev is an introvert I was not supposed to dance in the sequence! In fact my entire family was dancing with them on stage and here I was sitting looking at them, but once the shot was over, I too joined them and danced my heart out.” the talented actor adds with a smile.
But the road ahead for Dev and Payal will not be as smooth as they might think. With the threat of Gulkand (Akshara Singh) revealing the truth about Jogeshawar Prasad’s family and his financial motivations behind getting Dev married to Payal, the audience will be in for loads of entertainment laced with a surprising turn of events that will define the dynamics of Dev and Payal’s relationship!
Will Dev and Payal be able to tie the nuptial knot or fate has some other plans for them…Will Gulkand expose Jogeshwar Prasad’s ulterior motives of getting a Service Wali Bahu or will Payal fall into the trap unknowingly.
