Melanie Pais gets second stint in Colors’ Code Red

Melanie Pais turns ‘lucky’ for the second time, as she bags the central part in another episodic story of Colors’ Code Red. And this comes after she featured in Code Red – Chakravyuh, recently.

Now, Melanie will be part of Code Red – Awaaz, produced by Sunshine Rise Productions.

The story will revolve around a young and ambitious girl from a small town who would aspire to become a national level runner. However, when she will start her journey in the big town to fulfill her aspirations, she will be pulled down every time by competitors who are more powerful because of their financial status. And when the girl will rebel to expose the corruption that prevails, the men in power would throw a drug scam scandal on the girl. The story will then revolve around her struggle along with Kabir (Yash Sinha) the crime reporter, to prove her innocence.

When contacted, Melanie told us, “Yes, in fact I was shocked when I got a call for Code Red again. This is yet again an interesting story, and it feels good to play a teenager (smiles). I carry a sporty side in my attire and attitude, and am enjoying shooting for it.”
