Rahil Azam returns to CID after a decade
Remember versatile actor Rahil Azam’s super-negative portrayal of ACP Pradhyuman’s (Shivaji Satam) son in Fireworks Productions’ long-running show on Sony Entertainment Television, CID?
Well, the character of Nakul, played by Rahil will be brought back now to take revenge against his own father.
With this, Rahil returns to CID after a gap of 10 long years. As we know, Nakul, the criminal-minded son of ACP Pradhyuman had been shot dead by his own father earlier. However, his dead body had gone amiss then. And now, Nakul will be back to scheme and plot against the ACP.
Rahil who has recently wrapped up shoot for his prestigious Life OK show, Ek Tha Chander Ek Thi Sudha (Garima Productions) always takes up roles that push the actor in him to go a notch higher. And again in CID, one will see the best of Rahil, is what we hear.
When contacted, Rahil told us, “Yes, I am back to CID after 10 years and this is a great feeling. It is always a pleasure working with the team of CID as everyone out there is so humble and down-to-earth. I was given a warm welcome on the sets and I enjoyed my time shooting.”
We hear that new offers, post Ek Tha Chander Ek Thi Sudha are piling up for Rahil. But he is taking his sweet time so that he picks up something very different from his earlier roles.
Rahil who is a class-act has many noteworthy roles and shows to his name, starting from Hatim, Ye Meri Life Hai, Saarrthi, Resham Dankh, Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Naa, Gulaal.
We hope Rahil gets back to the TV screen in the New Year with yet another meaty persona.
