Living together with a big family has its own advantages: Sheetal Thakkar
Actress Sheetal Thakkar, who is a well-known face on television, seems to be very excited about being part of this different show on Zee TV, Satrangi Sasural (24 Frames Production).
Sharing her experience the actress commented, “I could not take my eyes off Farida ji when I first saw her. She is still so beautiful and graceful. I will describe her as a ‘bundle of warmth’. Moreover she is so very helpful and will never let you feel that she is so experienced.”
The actress, who is portraying the role of a mother-in-law for the first time on screen said, “In this show I am essaying the role of Masi Maa of Vihaan (Ravish Desai), who stays with her sister’s big family. She is a modern, intelligent woman, who handles the family business along with Dadi Maa (Farida Jalal) and Vihaan”.
The actress got candid and went on to say, “Even in real life I am not a nuclear family person. I cannot stay alone; I always want to live with others. Living together with a big family can also be fun and it has its own advantages. And living alone simply means missing out on those advantages.”
Sheetal, who has spent almost two decades in the industry feels that Swabhimaan (DD National) was the first path breaking show on Indian television. “It was my first show and it absolutely changed the scenario in Indian television industry.”
“Even nowadays many are attempting to do new and different things and audiences are also accepting these new types of shows. But I believe that much more experimentation is needed and we can try out much better things”, added Sheetal.
We agree with Sheetal on this note.
