‘More Power To Women’ in Halla Bol season 2 – Karan Tacker
We had earlier reported about Bindass’ Halla Bol coming up with the next installment. The show is based on bringing courageous deeds done by several women to lime light.
Well, how different will the second season be in comparison to the first season and he says, “First and foremost I want to thank the entire audience of Halla Bol for loving the show. It was thirteen episodes last season and this time we are back with twenty six episodes. So it is a bigger and of course a longer show. We have got much more real stories this time. With every story, we have tried to bring in some real life achiever women who have done something for the society which is absolutely remarkable.”
“For example in the first story we have got a girl called Leela who is a weight lifting champion and is representing the country. What really cool and good about the show is that we give them a platform and bring them in public. There are a lot of achievers that the general public are unaware of and it is unfortunate that there are a lot of sports people and achievers need biopics to come out in public. From these 26 episodes, we are trying to get as many people and women out in limelight as possible who have made a change in the society. The entire agenda of Halla Bol 2 is to give more power to women.”
How did ‘More Power To Women’ came up? “‘More Power To Women’ is the English tagline that I have made on my own. But I truly believe that we should give more power to women. I always say – Halla Bol, More Power to Women. The tagline that we have come up this season is an extension to what I wrote last time Chup mat rahiye, bardashth mat kijiye, aawaz uthaeeye aur kahiye Halla Bol – Halla Bol, Ladkiyaan kam nahin!! ”
Halla Bol season 2 will begin from November 30 at 6 pm.
Well, truly season 2 sounds even more interesting than what we saw in season 1.
