As the viewers brace up to watch the much hyped wedding in Sony TV’s Hum Hai Naa, here we present the picture of the petite Bengali bride Sagarika essayed by Pratyusha Banerjee. Being a bong shell in real life Pratyusha is looking stunning in the red outfit. While Pratyusha has already become a bride once on the small screen this time she is quite excited to dress up as a bengali bride as she can relate to it very much and carry herself extremely well.
We spoke to Pratyusha to know more about the bengali look in detail and she says, “More than me, my mom and dad are excited to watch my wedding sequence. They will start dreaming about my marriage after watching me as a bride in the show (smiles). The show’s basic motive is completed now as it was to unite Bunty (Kanwar Dhillon) and Sagarika together. It feels great to dress up as a bride in your own traditional attire. This is the first time I am becoming a Bengali bride so I was happy to get a chance to dress up in such attire.”
“The main thing in Bengali marriage is Mukuth on the bride’s head. Then it’s a banarasi sari that I have draped and lastly it’s a heavy dupaata that I worn. Dupatta was actually very heavy and difficult to handle,” she concludes.
Pratyusha is truly looking elegant wearing the traditional outfit!
