Ekta magic: Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai’s Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii connection

Ekta Kapoor, the Czarina of Indian television is all set to weave an exceptional love story with her latest offering on Sony PAL, Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai. The show which will trace the journey of two star-crossed lovers, who cannot unite will feature Navi Bhangu and Aparna Dixit in lead roles.

Well, recent interviews of Ekta in media have indicated her sheer confidence in the way she is presenting this new plot to the audience.

However, we have now got to know that there is yet another reason for the entire unit of Yeh Dil… to be optimistic of their show doing well.

Which is what?
Well, the launch date of Ekta’s new show matches with that of her iconic yester year venture Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii.

A source from the set says, “Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii launched on 16 October 2000, and that is the date we have got for airing of the first episode of Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai (16 October 2014). This in itself gives us the confidence of repeating history. This love tale has a strong subject and will show the viewers about the relationship of two individuals who will survive the test of time. We really hope this show is as successful as Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii.”

When contacted, Aparna Dixit the protagonist of Yeh Dil told us, “Yes, we are aware of this huge coincidence, and it really feels good to be tagged with such a popular show of the past. I really hope we succeed in getting close to the landmarks that Kahaani has received over the years.”
