Abhimanyu is a relaxed and calm individual, similar to Ishita: Sumeet Sachdev

With the new entry of Abhimanyu Raghavan, played by the good looking and talented Sumeet Sachdev, things are surely going to spice up in Star Plus’ Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (Balaji Telefilms).

The show which presents the mature love story between two very different individuals Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) and Raman (Karan Patel), is today on a high with romance slowly seeping in between the two. And now to add some twist to their love story, Abhimanyu will enter the scene as one of Ishita’s college friends.

Shares Sumeet, “Abhimanyu is a relaxed and calm individual quite similar to Ishita. He has been a close friend to hers and soon will visit her. How their friendship would create a stir in Raman’s life will be for viewers to see. I can definitely assure that the tracks will be really interesting in the coming days.”

The jodi of Ishita and Raman are a favourite, so is he ready to face the flak of audience by being him as the ‘kabab mein haddi’? “As long as they like the haddi I am fine. The character is there to add a lot more element to the show and the relationship of the two, so I am really happy playing it,” answers the actor who rose to fame playing Gomzi in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

Sumeet will also be seen making a comeback to daily with this show after a long hiatus and sounded quite excited about it. “It does feel great and I am really looking forward to this new phase. Also coming back to Balaji it feels just like coming home. It’s a nice emotional moment getting back after almost four and a half years. The technicians and other crew members actually came to meet me and it surely felt great.”
