Dinesh Soni joins the cast of Sony Pal’s Piya Basanti Re

Sony Pal’s Piya Basanti Re (Rashmi Sharma Productions) already has a good ensemble cast in place with Alan Kapoor and Adaa Khan playing leads. Siddharth Shivpuri, Sunayana Fozdar, Rashmi Singh, Rasik Dave, Surbhi Vyas, Vipra Rawal, Falguni Dave will be playing pivotal roles.

Now joining the cast will be noted actor Dinesh Soni who has done lot many commercial ads and has anchored nearly 2000 stage shows as anchor. In the GEC sector, the actor has been part of prominent shows 26/12 on Life OK and Balika Vadhu on Colors.

In Piya Basanti Re, Dinesh (Jatin) will play father to Siddharth Shivpuri (Akash) and Sunayana Fozdar (Aditi). Vipra Rawal (Kavita), will essay his wife’s role; Kavita will be the most pampered daughter in the family. Mahesh Bhai (Rasik Dave), Kavita’s brother would dote on her like anything, and would not have allowed her to go out of the house post her marriage. Jatin who loves and adores his wife would have stayed back at his wife’s place only for his wife’s happiness, even when he holds a better professional stature than Mahesh bhai.

When contacted, Dinesh told us, “Yes, I am part of the cast of Piya Basanti Re. I play the son-in-law of the house, married to Rasik Dave’s sister. My character has a very good equation with everyone in the house. Jatin, the character I play loves his wife a lot. He has two kids, but the lead protagonist Kabir, essayed by Alan Kapoor is the most favourite kid in the family. My character is very positive; he is a man who is very sensible in this thoughts and action.”
