The dashing and sexy Kanwar Dhillon came into limelight for his role in the daily soap Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha Season 2 which aired on Colors. He further highlighted his potential and skills in acting as he charmed the audience as Vedant in Do Dil Ek Jaan. Now that he further plans to mesmerize the audience with his next project, Hum Haia Na on Sony TV, we get chatty with him in our Lifestyle section.
How important is money to you?
I would be manipulative if I said that money is not important for me. Money is important for a better living.
Are you an impulsive buyer?
Very much. I am an impulsive buyer when it comes to gadgets and clothes. I do not spend recklessly but yes, if I like something and find it worth, I purchase it.
What are the investments that you have made?
I have bought a new car for my father. Additionally, I own a car and I have my house here.
What has been your most expensive purchase?
As mentioned, I bought an SUV 500 worth Rs. 17 lakh.
Do you feel financially secure?
Yes. I am financially secure.
Who handles your expenses?
I live with my parents. I have an individual account so I handle my own expenses.
What was your first salary?
My first salary was Rs. 4000 which I earned by choreographing dance performance for other students when I was in school.
How much money do you carry every day?
Today’s generation thrives on credit and debit cards. But I believe that it is important to carry some loose cash in one wallet. I usually keep around Rs. 2000 in my wallet and use my debit card if necessary.
Your advice to new investors?
It is important to invest and use your money wisely. Think before you spend.
