“The entire unit of MTV is as crazy as me”- Karan Kundra
Talented Karan Kundra is currently essaying the character of a vampire in MTV India’s Fanaah. As we all know Karan has a very cordial relationship with the programming head of MTV India as they both were there with each other and has grown in this industry together.
They have worked together in a couple of shows such as Kitani Mohabbat Hai on Imagine, Gumrah on Channel V and more.
We got in touch with Karan to know more about his equation with Vikas Gupta.
Karan says that his association with the channel MTV and with the channel head Vikas Gupta has been very cordial, “It’s lovely working with the entire team of MTV, mere saath ke saare mil gaye. Initially I thought that I am only the crazy person but the entire MTV team is like that and this is my first show with MTV. With Vikas, since the time I am working in this industry he has stood beside me and has been there around like a brother for me.”
He further adds, “When I did my first show which was Kitani Mohabbat Hai, he was the creative head there. From there his graph has steadily increased as he became the creative associate, then a creative head, a producer and now a channel head. I think he has achieved a lot at quite a young age. I had full faith on the production house as well as on the show Gumrah and even on the show Yeh Hai Aashiqui on Bindass. Lost Boy Productions has given a brilliant shows and now also I completely trust on the show Fanaah. And that is the reason I thought of doing this show and got associated with MTV.”
When asked Karan about his co-stars he says, “Chetna Pande who is my co-star in Fanaah was the first choice to play the role of Aarohi in Imagine’s Kitani Mohabbat Hai. But due to some problem, Kritika Kamra was roped in for the role. Since then me and Chetna are in touch with each other and we are very good friends as well. We did not work together and finally we got a chance to work with each in Fanaah. We are selfie obsessed because we just keep on clicking selfies like a manic.”
We wish Karan Kundra all the best for the future.
