“The film is something different and I am all set for the change.” – Ruslaan Mumtaz

Popular actor Ruslaan Mumtaz is all set to shoot for the film after a gap. The actor will play the lead in the romantic comedy film Romeo Idiot Jatni Juliet.

Good looking Ruslaan Mumtaaz who was seen in Sony TV’s show Kehta Hai Dil… Jee Le Zara rose to fame with movies and then started his career in TV. While TV still interests him, the actor is all set to get back to his base which is films.

Ruslaan has a bagged a rom-com film and is busy shooting for the same. After his last stint in Sony TV’s Encounter, he is all set to enjoy shooting for the film.

Telling us more about the story Ruslaan says, “This movie is a romantic comedy movie ‘Romeo Idiot Jatni Juliet’. The story revolves a guy who stays in Mumbai. He is a loser, wannabe and over smart person. He tries his luck every where but fails every time. So he shifts to Haryana where he falls in love with a Haryanvi girl in this way the story proceeds further. It’s a youth centric movie, I am playing the lead in this movie.”

Furthermore Ruslaan says that the female lead is a new comer and he is excited for the movie, “Female lead of this movie is a new girl. My mother’s role will be played by Neelu Kohli and father by Vijayendra Ghatge. I am excited for this movie and expecting a good response from the audience.”

He further adds, “It is something different I am doing. I am all set for the change. I got this offer from Satish kaushik when I was doing Tere Sang. He saw my work and I was offered for this. They have started shooting for this movie.”

When asked to choose between movies and TV shows, the actor says, “You get a different experience in TV, you can daily reach out to your fans at their home so I still prefer TV instead of movies.”

Lastly we asked him about your future plans he says, “I have eight plans in the pipeline, let’s see how and when it works out.”
