Nirbhay Wadhwa makes his Bollywood debut with the film Main Aur Mr. Right

Seen as Dushasana in Star Plus’ Mahabharat, Nirbhay Wadhwa is all set to mark his debut with the film Main Aur Mr. Right.

Actor Nirbhay Wadhwa, best known for portraying Dushasana in mythological TV series on Star Plus Mahabharat, will be seen debuting in the Bollywood film ‘Main Aur Mr Riight’. He will be playing a Salman Khan fan.

Nirbahay essays the role of a struggling actor. The movie will also mark the big screen debut of dashing TV actor Barun Sobti of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? fame, who plays the main lead. VJ-turned-actress Shenaz Treasurywala will be seen as Sobti’s love interest in the film. The film also stars Kavi Shastri, Puneet Malhotra and Varun Khandelawal in important roles.

Main Aur Mr. Right is a romantic comedy depicting the story of a young girl in search of her Mr. Right. Aliya is a perfectionist and just won’t settle for anything less. There are four men in the film. She proceeds to meet and seems fairly interested in, yet she is unsure of who among them is the most suitable for her title of Mr.Right. The movie captures her journey of learning to look past her strict requirements of the ideal, perfect man and finding true love.

Talking about the role in film Nirbhay says, “I play Rajbhir in the film, who has come to Mumbai to be a hero. There is a film that is being made in the movie. I have come to give an audition for the film. My character is a hard core Salman Khan fan. He does not listen to anyone, does his own thing although he is no body but behaves like superior to all.”

Nirbhay is happy to work with the renowned actor Makarand Deshpande, “I have most of the scenes with Makarand Deshpande as he is playing a casting director in the film and I go for an audition to him even get selected but later on because of my tantrums as I keep arguing and fighting with them, they reject me so it’s a cameo role. I have just shot for a week but it has been a great experience working with Makarand Deshpande. And rest scenes with Shenaz who is the main lead of the film,” he says.

When asked about the difference between working in films and television, the actor says, “Mahabharat is a huge show of Star Plus. The film that I have done is not a big budget film. So, that is the main difference. I could not understand or learn much while shooting my film as it was for a short span of six days. I have been on the TV show for many months now and have evolved as an actor, I am lucky to be a part of such mythological show. For this show we were trained one year prior to start shooting and got a lot to learn from this show as it was mandatory to build my body for my character to be believable.”

Nirbhay is awaiting for the release of the film, which is currently in post-production. The movie is directed by Adeeb Rais and slated to be release by the end of year 2014.
