Scene 1
jalal and jodha comes out to distribute clothes in people, jalal says do you remember once in amer you were distributing like this, jodha recalls and says how do you know, jalal says that day for first time someone placed sword on my neck, you were about to behead me. jodha says circumstances were different then, now its different, jalal says what is changed, what you think about me now, jodha says this is not the place to talk about this, jalal says atleast tell this that if knew that I was same jalal whose head you wanted put in devi’s feet then you would have killed me, jodha says I wish to kill you even now, jalal says what, jodha says yes, every wife think atleast one time in a day to kill her husband, jalal says only one time what about other time of day, jodha says other time she wish to care for him, jalal says like putting medicine on his wounds, waking whole night for his health, making remedy for him. jodha says this is not care but love, jalal smiles at her indirect confession, jodha says some wives 1st give pain to so husband come close then come more close to remove pain, jalal says leave all but tell me what you think about me, jodha diverts and says your dress is loose, give it to tailor, jalal says answer me what you think about me now, jodha says some answers wife doesn’t give, husbands have to find themselves.
Scene 2
they come to jail, they listens to prisoner getting beaten up and screaming, jalal comes there and saves prisoner, its zakira, she says I did mistake to be with Benazir, but I didn’t had any option, I was servant of Benazir and had to follow her rules but now I pray for jalal, I was short by height so nobody use to give me work that’s why I started work with Benazir, jalal scolds soldier and says why were you beating her like this, jodha ask her to get up, zakira says sorry for her doing, jalal says I am freeing you from prison, zakira says I did wrong with you even then you are freeing me, jalal says I also got second chance so I am giving you too, jalal says you got punished for what you did and I listened in amer that handicapped people should not be given punishment, jodha recalls how once jalal’s handicapped companion was caught and she said that this person should not be given punishment as its against their respect and honour, fb ends, jalal repeats her words, jodha is stunned that he was there that time, jalal says god also forgive hi men so am I, you are free, zakira says you are great, I will pray my whole life for your togetherness, you both remain happy, I will keep praying for both of you. she leaves, jodha says today also you got precious gift that prayers of a weak person and I also go this, I am very lucky to listen my husband’s praise infront of me.
SCene 3
jalal sees one mark on wall and says its same like which is on my bangle, bairam khan use to tell me there is some secret way in jail, I hope its same, jodha gets excited and says where it leads? jalal says why should I tell you, did you answer my question so why should I answer you, jalal says khan baba used to tell me that my father use to take this secret basement to hide himself and nobody could find him and there is way that goes to jungle from here, maybe I will get answers of questions seeing this place.
maham comes in jail and says I will not leave him today, jalal and jodha are going in secret way, jalal says I don’t know secret is there in this basement, I am excited to know about my father’s secret place. jodha says but there is wall infront,jalal tries to hit wall with sword, maham is on ther side of and says there is someone on other side. jodha listens to someone screaming in pain, jalal ask what happened, jodha tells him that she listened someone’s scream. jalal looks on.. jalal also listens, they goes to otherside, maham sees them and hides with her secret man, jalal and jodha look around, jalal says there is nothing here, even khan baba didn’t know about it so there must be nothing here, it must be some bat so we should leave else we will get late for celebration, they leaves, maham have sigh of relief.
Scene 4
jodha is getting ready, jalal calls her, she ask moti to give sweets to jalal and I will get ready, she gets ready, jalal comes and says you called me and you are not ready as yet, jodha looks at him and says look at you, how much you are glowing, jalal shows jodha in mirror and says when your wife is so beautiful so you have to look good so that you doesn’t look dull infront of her, jodha says you are weird and your ways of praising is also weird, jalal says if I was not weird then you could have not loved me, jodha gets shy and nods. jalal says I cant believe that one year passed with you and I am happy with you, I want to spend my life with you, jodha puts her hand on his hand and smiles. shehnaz comes there with sweet dish, moti comes there and ask shehnaz to go out, shehnaz ask what is it in bowl, moti says its sweet for jalal, shehnaz says then I will make him eat, moti tries to stop but shehnaz moves forward and deliberately throws sweet dish on jalal”s sandals, jalal gets angry, shehnaz says don’t punish me I am sorry, jalal says jodha I want to talk in private, moti and sehehnaz goes out, jalal says I understand that she is not mad but child, but did you see what she did, I don’t want her to come in celebration, jodha says nothing will happen, jalal says I don’t know but she will not come there, jodha says if you have decided then what I can say, jalal says I will meet you in celebrations and leaves. jodha;s mood gets off.
Scene 5
sharif is doing arrangements and thinks that when you will come in my arms jodha, it hurts me that whom I crave for, I have to do preparations for her marriage anniversary, bakshi ask what are you thinking, he says about marriage, I mean we should celebrate our anniversary like this, bakshi says do whatever you want, she leaves, sharif says I want to leave your hand and grab jodha’s hand. all comes at jashn venue and are happy with arrangements, hamida ask about ruks, salima says she is not feeling well. jalal comes in hall, all greets him, ruks is looking at all this from balcony, jodha comes in hall, jalal keeps looking at her, all greets jodha, jodha sits beside jalal. jalal looks at her and smiles. ruks gets angry in her room and shouts jodha, she says my game is going away from me but I will not sit and see like this, jalal is going away from me, I have to do something, I will not feel good to see jalal heart broken but I have to make jalal mine.
PRECAP- jalal whispers to jodha that we have to talk about child tonight, jodha looks at him and sasy this is why you called me, jalal says its very important matter, jodha angrily looks at him and is about to go but her dupatta get stuck under jalal’s elbow, jalal says look your dupatta is also in mood of naughtiness, jodha is speechless.

Of late there were reports on Paridhi Sharma’s (Jodha of Jodha Akbar) not so good rapport with the show’s director Santaram as reportedly, the actress accused him of mental harassment.
Now, moving ahead, we have something interesting to share with our readers. If sources are to be believed then Paridhi Sharma has signed Ekta Kapoor’s next show for Colors. Yes! you read it right. “The show which is titled as Meri Aashiqui Tumhi Se Hai, will have Paridhi Sharma playing the parallel lead in the show,” said a source.
Well, this piece of information has raised several questions in our minds. Is Paridhi Sharma about to leave the show? Is she being replaced by the makers? Or is Jodha Akbar about to end?
On the other hand we also hear that this Balaji Telefilms’s show on Colors is scheduled to go on air on 7th of July, 2014. That means the makers have two months to shape Jodha Akbar’s storyline and decide on their decision to rope Paridhi for this Colors’ shows.
The rest of the cast for the show is Sarita Joshi, Shakti Arora, Maleeka R Ghai and Nitin Vakaria. When contacted, Paridhi Sharma said, “It’s not confirmed to me yet, May be I am doing.”

She just has to disagree with Jalal , that’s what I get out of that scene. Earlier we were shown Jo accessing people correctly, what happened now. This decision made Jo more stupid than shehnaaz.

She is giving me headache, she is beyond repairs due to her madness and behaviour.
She is very rude, arrogant, self-important and no respect at all. She is a spoiled and selfish Mughal Princess.
she takes Jalal like her property, that’s why she always says that nobody can rule Jalal`s mind and brain except her, she was taking advantage on being childhood first wife and Mughal princes to bully other Begums.
Maham once told her that “…you will never be Jalal`s wife (biwi), you will always keep your position as his first wife, special Begum, Queen and special friend, maintain that friendship….” she did not understand the meaning of that statement at that time.
I think she did not see that coming, never believed that Jalal will ever fall in love because he does not have heart. She never shown him her feelings. Although Jalal was a man of many wives, concubines and mistress but still was lonely man who wanted to be loved.
All changed when Jodahr came in. Jodhar believed that he is a man called Jalal, not an EMPORER!!!!!!!!! , a human being with heart, feelings and husband. Jodhar always call him my husband or shehshan.
Ruks always refer him as Jalal.May be due to strong friendship I don`t know.
Her problem is Jalal being taken away from her,position and power, she married Jalal as an Emperor and liked his wealthy. All this years she did not put any effort to love him, therefore Jalal was comfortable to keep her as friend and wife, I can tell their friendship is very strong you cannot deny it.
If she loves him I`m not sure because if you real love your husband with all your heart even if there other wives, how can you suggest to your husband to marry another wife so that this bride will became your servant. That what she suggested to Jalal on Benazir marriage so that she can put down Jodhar. Silly woman

she once told Jalal to ask Jodar to go back to Amer because Jodhar is not interested on his kingdom and his people, position, power, wealthy and does not share with him husband and wife. What she did not know is that already Jalal was in love with Jodhar.
Jalal will never ever abandon her,she has her special place on his life since childhood,but for now Ruks please give this man sometime to enjoy love,affection,heat,embrace and romantic hug.You where there you could not do it.

May 22, 22:56These days they are not showing Jalal to be rational. His one goal seems to be not make Jo upset no matter what, which is not right on part of a king when he has other wives. He can spend more time with Jo because of anniversary and all but he still cant forget to be considerate to Ruks and driver her crazy. Remember he is the king and needs to makes sure things do not go out of control. Its his actions which are driving Ruks do bad things. Remember on Jos birthday Ruks suggested Ja to give her a nice Jewelery from her own box. If she shows little bit consideration which is part of his duty as her husband for so many years Ruks wouldnt have gotten down to the stagge where she is today.

When we see all the women in the kingdom are usually mostly indoors which I think is the culture that time in moguls but she is her usual self even gets in an open pool . So no question of shy anywhere .

Jalal is an EMPEROR,not normal person,what the guard was doing to allow Shehnaaz just walking in and bringing something for the king to eat?!!!!! where are the safety measures and security for the King?if she had a knife was easy to stab him,who is she trying to feed the king? she pour sweets on Jalal`s clothes on purpose.
People can just walking in when the king is around to any room,show some respect,dignity and privacy.
Please don`t make Jalal`s character weak in front of Jodhar.
and make Jodhar character more mature.I am saying that because she did not respond or say anything even if she saw the king`s trouser and shoes were mess.
Ruks was disturbing to watch.

May 22, 19:41I agree Mahann the security issue had first bothered me when Shehnaz came into Jalal’s room to chase rahim for the dolls. That is the Kings bedroom for crying out loud. Why would they announce Jodhas arrival and ask him for permission for her to come in if Shehnaz can just run in and out? You are absolutely right, they are forgetting the regal aspect of Jalals xter a bit. Jodha just needs to be a tidbit more submissive to her MAN! Menn even to compliment the guy she has to be begged and cajoled? This her shyness is indeed epic!

May 22, 17:14I think Rukku loves Jalal just as a friend but never as a man. Why? Because if she loves him as her man, she will never fix his wedding to Benazir just to remove Jodha from his life. If you love a man, you can’t bear the thought of letting ANY woman come close to him. To remove THE OTHER woman in his life, you yourselves will stick to him and give no room for the other woman.
Please don’t tell me that she is lack of people to teach her, even if she is not comfortable with Hamida Bano, she always has Gulbadan at her side. Unlike Jalal who really had no other guy friend to turn to until MH came. All she has to do is ask. And even MA used to gave her good advise before Jodha came to their life. Like, when Jalal cried because BK died, MA advised her to stick to Jalal’s side but she loves her job too much that she ran to solve harem issues and left him crying alone without consolation.
If you ask me if she should get a second chance? As a friend, yes Jalal should. Considering that they had been married for 10 years and she was there during his struggle. I guess Jalal too know that she at least deserve that, so that is why she will still remain as his Chief Queen.
But a chance as a lover, it will be too unfair to ask Jalal to do that because the chance to be lover between them had long gone. Because both of them failed to turn their 10% chance to be a lover when they first get married to 100% lover after 10 years of marriage. And, like I said, I don’t think that Rukku loves him. Even if she does loves him in her twisted way, who can prevent God’s will.
I understand why Rukku is attach to her audha. It was not because she loved him but he didn’t love her back so audha is the only thing she has, some of forum members might disagree with this. But, it is because she really does love being powerful. Because of her childhood was full with power struggle, she believes that one should stay powerful to survive. In the same childhood that Jalal lost his heart in order to be the great powerful king, Rukku also lost her heart in order to survive. That is the reason why she is ready to attack whoever comes between her and her audha. She is just reacting like this because she felt threaten and she need to survive at any cost.
Harem too is a place of power struggle. Woman with strong supporter usually success in harem. Maybe CV didn’t show it in the serial but real Harem was. For Rukku, although she is a Mughal princess and rich, she doesn’t has any strong and powerful family member or supporter in the king’s court who will speak for her. Her only hope is a son but she is childless. Yes, she has Jalal who is her King husband and bestfriend. But when he pass away, the power will be gone too. That is why she needs to be Jalal’s only Chief Queen or Jalal’s most special Chief Queen.
In Mughal Dynasty like in Eastern Asian Dynasties (Mongolia, China, Japan and Korea), it is not weird if the King gives his son from just a low and/or unloved concubine to his most special and trusted childless Chief Queen to be groom as the next king and being an official next king’s mother will surely secure her power till she die. That is why she doesn’t mind arranging which concubine and wife that will spend time with the King. And the supporters of the real mother will forever support her too for she had arrange the real mother’s schedule with the king until she is pregnant with the heir.
Nevertheless, I feel sorry for her because she is the example of 16th century woman that married to someone she doesn’t love as a man and that someone too doesn’t love her as a woman. A perfect reason why 16th century women trained to believe that marriage is not about love but about family and heir.

Jalal started to respect and show affection to his mother after his marriage to Jodhar.

May 22, 17:12Nice episode! Jalal is the face of this show for real. Rajat is growing everyday as an actor. He has undertood the xter jalal so well his reactions are so natural. I loved the episode but I must agree Jodha did douse it just a bit when she grew tense because of Jalals reaction to shehnaz. Writers please for once let Jodha reprimand shehnaz, for once. Even if it were a child when they make a mistake you reprimand them. She should have done that even if only to appease Jalal who was not happy she messd his shoes. She didnt need to shout at shehnaz just reprimand her gently but firmly so her husband feels her care and consideration for him more. However I love what I read about the episode now let me watch. Hope the chemistry between Jo Ja has improved.

I decided to analyse our dear ‘Bachpan Ki Dost”.
What kind of a person is Ruqaiya??? And, what kind of a person is Jalal to have a friend like her? She claims herself to be his best friend, his advisor, his pillar of support and so on and so forth… but has she ever proved any of her claims to be true?
If she were a true friend, once she knew about Jodha meeting a stranger at night from Jalal, she should have gone to Jodha and confronted her then and there. Once Jalal told her his misery, she should have taken such steps so as to mitigate that pain and not start plotting with Maham Anga to drive away Jodha. As we see now, Jalal is most affected by all this. Jodha too is equally affected but Ruqaiya need not bother about that. But she needs to care about Jalal’s suffering if she cares about him.
She was exhilarated as Jodha had left the palace. But she failed to see the grief in Jalal’s eyes. Yes, she felt bad when she came to know the truth about Sujamal. But she was more worried about the fact that Jodha will come back only to be much more powerful than before.
Earlier, in the Benazir track,she coerced Jalal to marry her which was unnecessary on her part. All this was done to spite Jodha. Her hatred for Jodha seems to exceed her love for Jalal that is if she has any love for him. Later, she refused to go to the darga with Jalal, and then followed him. If she so wanted his attention and company, she need not have refused.
The last and most important thread in this story- Jalal’s HEART which supposedly doesn’t exist.
The first question is: despite Ruqaiya being a part of Jalal’s life for a long time now, Jalal does not or rather, did not have a heart. How did he lose it in the first place? Let us say, because of Bairam Khan. Let’s be fair, we will give Ruqaiya that much. Jalal lost his heart.
How come Ruqaiya never bothered to help her best friend’ regain his heart? How is it that she could never teach Jalal to love? After all, the first form of love is friendship. There is no love without friendship. Why didn’t Ruqaiya ever TRY to use this potent tool to teach Jalal the importance of love and emotions?
On the other hand, she always reminded him that he did not have a heart and kept cynically questioning him about his non-existing heart. Why?
Forget about Jalal, what about her? Does she love her husband? No, she doesn’t. Has she ever told him or herself that she loves him? No, she hasn’t. when Jodha asked her, she had no answer. She has been with him for such a long time now, why couldn’t she ever love him?
Despite all this, our dear Jalal considers her as his best friend which is indeed praiseworthy.
