Varun Dhawan spreads smiles on Colors’ Mission Sapne

Only a couple of movies old, but Varun Dhawan has proved himself time and again as one of the most grounded and large-hearted actors from amongst the new generation of leading men. Taking this image one step further, Varun will be seen stepping into the shoes of patiwala Prabhakar Karale on Colors’ recently launched show, Mission Sapne.

After a day of sweating it out by carrying the burden of others’ shopping on his head, Varun walked away feeling humbled about his overall experience. But, as is with every case, Varun’s journey on Mission Sapne was marked with some difficulties, which were unfortunately, not under his control.

As Varun continued to shoot across different parts of Crawford Market, there was a team of namkeen-selling women seated outside who felt that their business was getting hampered because of the excess attention that Varun’s shoot garnered.

By the end of the shoot, the news about their bickering reached Varun’s ears and he decided to take the matter in his own hands. Before he called it day, Varun reached out to these women, interacted with them and clicked pictures with them to transform their frowns into smiles.

And soon the ladies forgot about all their angst and posed happily with Varun as the photographers present there went click-happy!
