Scene 1
Atgah hands the no tax order to the messengers and they are ordered to hand them over to the respective overlords, chieftains , governors .. The messengers are strictly instructed to convey to the said overlords and governors Any violation of the order will result in harsh punishment.
A announcement is made in public places that the Lagaan(tax) has been abolished and henceforth Hindus will not be paying any Lagaans.in a deserted place
Pratap is praying when his messenger informs him about Jalal’s decision to abolish the Lagaan Tax . The Incisive mind of Pratap immediately grasps the difficulties that Jalal ‘s decision has thrown up..He is sure now that Hiindu subjects will support him as the sore spot has been removed .. but Pratap is undeterred ..He swears to oppose Jalal at every turn as he is a invader. The Rajputs are impressed.
Scene 2
In agra, Moti and some Hindu Servants wish to see Jalal; Jalal orders them in .. They sing praises of Jalal’s broadmindedness and thank him for removing the tax. Moti adds that had Jodha been here , she too would have been elated ..Jalal hopes that this news does reach Jodha and she at least will remember him on this pretext.
Scene 3
Jodha is praying to Kali maa, Saguni Bai informs Jodha Begum that her time to depart has come .. Jodha smilingly agrees and says she has completed her prayers and will be leaving soon..saguni corrects her pointing out that she had called her Jodha Begum and not Kunwri Jodha .. Jodha is puzzled, she falteringly replies that she has not understood Saguni’s cryptic talk.. Saguni grows even more enigmatic, retorts that destiny is always inscrutable ..
Jodha walks out .
Scene 4
in agra, Hamida and Jalal have a chat.. Hamida has begun to treat Jalal as the King addressing him respectfully ..Hamida hesitantly brings up the issue of Maham and involving her in running of government.. Jalal doesnt agree with her.
Scene 5
in amer, Jodha is handing out coins to Hindu pilgrims so that they can pay the tax for pilgrimage when a maid comes hurrying , tells Jodha that a messenger from Agra has come with the news that Lagaan has been abolished .. Jodha is very surprised and comes out from temple , she is ecstatic to hear everyone singing praises of Jalal. Jodha realizes that Jalal’s heart has awakened.
SOULTALK
Jodha says she began to recollect each and every word that he had said.. we get the flashback of Jalal apologizing, of all the other moments…
in agra, maham is in her room, gnashing her teeth n riling against the overweening influence of Jodha .. maham is angry that jalal is veering towards Hinduism away from Islam, She blames Jodha for this change. Hamida walks into Maham’s room.. Hamida and maham engage in conversation..Hamida informs Maham that her faults have been many but at the same time, Hamida says one cannot overlook Maham’s contribution and her sacrifices .. Hamida encourages Maham to try and decrease the distance between jalal and herself.. Hamida points out that Jalal still respects her hence he has overlooked many faults of Adham and hers.. Hamida wishes the best for Maham n leaves.. Maham who was looking all broken with tears rolling down her cheeks gets back to cruel mode again. Maham says unto the empty room that she is least bothered about Jalal’s opinion nor concerned about him.. From this moment on, All her energies, her planning will be towards getting her own Son Adham to the throne ..
Scene 6
in amer, All have sat down to dinner and are waiting for Jodha to come.. Jodha bustles in, declares that she was foolish n pushed her stubbornness beyond limit n wants to return to Agra , that too on that night itself…All in one breath…. Mainavati reminds Jodha that it is night n not safe plus one has to see auspicious time but Bharmal shoots down this suggestions saying that Since Jodha is returning to her home, there is no need for such formalities
PRECAP- jalal is deliriously ecstatically joyously blissfully happy on getting the news that Jodha is coming to Agra…In his euphoria , he hugs Atgah while in the background the palace seem to be getting decorated for some party..

May 12, 09:56Jodha Akbar is one of the best show of television drama. It is a historical show based on Akbar the great.
Jodha Akbar has won the heart of thousands of viewers by the extremely eye-catching performance of its actors and actresses.
Besides Ekta Kapoor its producer is also praise worthy because she is continuing the show even after the protests because of its religious terms.
But it suffered from low profile and low trp due to its then ongoing tracks.
But the winds changed all of a sudden when Jodha was sent out of Agra due to the misunderstanding between Jodha and Akbar. But hopefully Akbar understood his mistake and after long drama with viewers pleasure Akbar said sorry to her. But Jodha refused.
Then to everyone’s pleasure Jodha will return this week to Akbar.
Let’s see what happens next. Enjoy JA and wait for its ups and downs.

If jodha’s love is unconditondal coz she drank poison without thinking twice…then i wud love to say even jalal’s love is unconditonal..coz he too saved jodha from tiger..even he was not sure if he il survive or not… but he did it…both sacrificed thr life wen they hv not realised thr love…that time neither jalal expected jo to apolozise…adn neither jo expected jalal to apolozise…
If jodha saved rukku’s and jalal’s marrige then jalal too saved shivani’s marriage..he inturn gave away ratanpur durg…

jalal was always at the exteme…be it love or hate..he was always insecured about jodha from the beginning..coz she was the only one begum who hated him in this world…later on also he was insecure ..but he started loving her..this insecurity made him to susupect her…and yes his close ones took advantage of it…

And Jo didnt change him for herself,or for him to love her! SHE CHANGED HIM FOR HIMSELF!
she changed him for his awaam…,who always wanted a shahenshah who gave verdict from his heart!
Did she know that he would fall in love with her only when she was waking up his heart? no!
What if he had fallen in love with another woman?what if he had given his heart to someone else? did jo think of any of these while changing him?
If Jo was so eager to change him and love him…,she would have accepted him on that very night,when he came pouring out his heart to her!
1.How selfless my jo was in drinking that whole cup of poison!
2.How selfless my jo was in saving ja-ruq’s relationship, when adham had demanded for their divorce!(Any other begum in her place would have celebrated their separation!)
3.How selfless my jo was in meeting Sujamal again and again for the sake of jalal!(if she had thought of the threaten that this meeting would bring to her relationship with jalal, she would’nt have met him!)
4.how selfless my Jo was in gifting his awaam’s dua on jalal’s birthday, without any EXPECTATIONS from him!
5,How selfless my Jo was in forgiving BB and SD for the sake of her jalal(yes,here jo had noticed his pain, which significantly motivated her to forgive BB, her love for BB was partly a reason! )
6.And lastly, how selfless my jo was in giving up harem’s responsibility,to find out the person from whom jalal had threat!

May 12, 03:37When love happens to someone it doesn’t expect the reciprocation and if it get it then that would be great. So there can never be any conditional love that I love you with whole of my heart and so you need to love me in the same way. Love can’t be measured but only felt. A person may be good at expressing and he may express his love beautifully with marvelous words and the girl may be shy and not so outspoken and hence might just might not even reciprocate his love with words. At that moment he can’t declare that she doesn’t love him but will have just watch her eyes, they will speak volumes. He needs to watch her steps, which may have the ridham of her love.
At times even after realizing one loves someone, it is not so easy to accept and express it to the other as there will be hesitation due to circumstances.
For Jalal it was too easy to accept his feelings and convey that to her as just realized it that he feels something special for her which he never felt in his life. As he is the only person (man) in her life. But it was difficult for her to say the same as she was not sure of how her confession will be received by him. She had to assess the circumstances in which he told those words and whether the same will stand for ever as he has many more people in his life and he needs to spare his everything with them as well. So she had to make sure that her expression should not affect his other relations. Just because she doesn’t express herself doesn’t mean she loves him less. If she had loved him less, she would have left him to his fate (even when he was not realized he loves her) and would not have bothered to save his life from Ben as well as the unknown relative who stays in the palace and trying hard to take Jalal’s life. She would not have prepared the medicine and sent it to him at matura. She would not have said I would have died if you were dead.
The love can never be conditional or unconditional. it is just love and its a beautiful feeling felt by heart and soul. It doesn’t change with external influence. It doesn’t diminish as the time passes or with the distance. One doesn’t love based on he gift or status but love due to the peace and happiness the other person’s memory gives you. If you get a smile juts by remembering the other person, then its crystal clear that the other person’s love is immeasurable. Which happens with both Jodha & Jalal when ever they remember the other.

May 12, 03:35This is NOT a normal arranged marriage. It’s polygamy. It’s a forced marriage. It’s a marriage where she is ONE wife amongst thousands. Jodha wants the MAN not the Shahenshah. Regarding change, it’s a marriage involving two DIFFERENT clans, which happened for the first TIME. It takes time to understand. I don’t find it wrong to see that she wanted a man with a HEART. Is it too much to ask for ? Was this her condition? No. It was necessity and more so for Jalal. How can one LOVE without a heart? Some feel it is Jalal’s Love. ? There is never even a possibility of ONE SIDE ‘EPIC’ LOVE, even from Jalal. If it is EPIC, it comes from BOTH sides, otherwise not. Btw, When did Jalal himself understood that he has a heart, I FEEL via Jodha ? As for Jalal changing, Jodha NEVER asked him to change. He understood it himself.
It seems there is a “shikayat” against Jodha. There is a view that Jodha is not suitable and can not replicate the MAGNITUDE of Love which Jalal is capable of showcasing. But, There is NO writing on the wall that both partners take steps EQUALLY / alternately by counting and after impeccable mathematical calculations, one after another.
Quoted this few weeks backs – Love comes to a person at own accord, and the yearning for
it cannot be learned in any school. Your task is not to seek love, but
merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built

Never…Infact even if BEK wants to win chess match against Jo she asks a farman in return…So what would poor Jallu know abt unconditional love…
I read there is question raised if jalal can love without changing jodha why can’t jodha love precedence jalal? So jodha’s love for jalal is conditional..but my question is..the man jalal at the initial time we saw, was he worthy to get pure love frm anyone who only knew to give ans of blood is only blood, never took decision by cool mind, was just a puppet of maham n ruq’s..now look at this present jalal, how much he is calm n taking his decision frm his heart n mind..if jodha wouldn’t come in his life, did he ever think to come close to his subjects for informing their condition that wl make him not only a gud insaan to his subjects but also a great emperor!? previously we saw Jodha saying Jalal is a very good Shehenshah…she alwyas said this and defended him when his awam talked ill of him..and she was the first one to tell him he has a heart and there is a good human being lying inside him..but that lashing out night shattered all her theories she built about Jalal and she went back to square one..this particular tax abolishing decision of Jalal moved her so much that she forgot every bitter past of hers and only remembers his heart, her old theories and this act proved her that whatever she thought of him (having a heart and a wonderful human being) is all true..he is a man with a heart of gold..this act proved it oncee again…she knows this abolishion will cause Mughal Saltanat a huge loss, but Shehenshah did not care, isse zyada nothing could have moved Jodha..iss act ke samne sab kuch pheka padhjata hai..Jodha herself feeling very small in front of Jalal’s mahaan act..hence she immediately admitted her mistake and stubbornness..vapas naa jane ka toh sawal hi nahi uthta! she forgave him long back…just needed a space to heal her heart and a push to start afresh with him…this was the space and the push..note, she asked for time..she never said she won’t go back.

Remind you to think back to just married Jodha and Jalal. Jodha told Jalal – she does not want anything from Shehenshah.
Jalal understood very early in the marriage that only the MAN JALAL can win over Jodha not the Shehenshah – his sultanate, his riches, his victories did not mean as much to Jodha as WHO he was.
In fact she hated the cruel heartless Shehenshah.
Jodha also reminded him he had a heart and he will discover it one day.
Jodha did not ask Jalal to change, he wanted to win her over and he started to change unknowingly even to himself.
Everytime Jalal doubted Jodha and after realizing the truth asked for pardon. His apology was always sincere but he went back to doubting her again and again.
Jodha did not love him before so his insults only made her think her view of him was right.
When Jalal slowly won her over and Jodha fell in love with Jalal – that is when his doubting her fidelity – even after she drank poison to save him – cut her to the core. It was not because Jodha did not love him – rather it was because she did love him.
When Jalal said sorry this time – how would Jodha know he would not do this to her again? How many times does she have to prove herself?
It had happened again and again. How can she trust him again – knowing her love for him now gave him power to hurt her in the worst way?
See how lonely he is without his Jodha? In haram filled with thousands! Cos not one of them loves him this much – to be willing to die for him but to fight with him for her self respect and to see him discover his heart not for her, but so that he can be the best Shehenshah for his awam. No wonder he would rather be alone in Jodha’s hojara with her thoughts than be with anybody else.
Jodha’s absence made Jalal see what she brought to his life. The only one who loves him as man not as Shehenshah.
Jalal DID NOT ABOLISH THE TIRTH KAR FOR JODHA. He did it cos he is truly a changed person – who has started looking at things differently with his heart.
Even when MH told Jalal about how Shivani saved him from more hurt Jalal did not understand it fully.
It is only when Jalal thought that Jodha loved someone else – his agony at this suspicion made him realize what kind of life Shivani saved MH from. This is what he remembered MH telling him when he saw Shivani Tej in DEK.
How Shivani gave up everything for her love – that is what made him understand and pardon her.
When Jalal abolished the Tirth Kar he did it as a Shehenshah – to be fair and impartial to all his awam – not just Muslims. Jalal did it cos he understood what it is to get love from his awam.
Jalal no longer only wants to rule over the land – he wants to rule over the hearts of his people.
The very best gift Jodha had given him on his birthday, he cherishes it fully and knows now, how much Jodha loves him to wish this for him always.
Jalal is hearing the voice of his heart and he can do that of others because he has discovered his own heart.
Jodha did not disbelieve his apology – she just did not believe he won’t do this to her again. This time when Jodha sees the changed Jalal – the one who is listening to the voice of his heart how can she not listen to his heart?
Jodha did not decide to come back because Jalal abolished the Tirth Kar – she did it because she has seen the changed listen to his heart Jalal. Now she knows he truly has found his heart and he is listening to it.
Last time Jodha went to Jalal out of compulsion – this time she is going out of her love and when Jalal realizes this, that he has truly won over his Jodha – he will cherish his Jodha even more.
