‘Idealistic’ Sangram Singh refuses to endorse cold drink brand
Once an actor becomes popular, well known brands approach him or her to endorse their products and also be part of their advertisement deals. With all this also comes a hefty sum of money which truly is tempting for all.
Well, but there is one television actor who does not believe in earning big bucks by compromising his beliefs.
Well, the guy in question is the tough and good looking international wrestling champion Sangram Singh, who is also now a household name after his stint in the last season of Colors’ Bigg Boss. Currently he is seen in Life OK’s Shapath.
Sangram was recently approached by a leading soft drink company to endorse its products. And the beefy actor denied it outrightly.
Wondering why? Well, let’s hear it from the man himself.
“I am a very health conscious person and believe only on consuming natural products. I feel aerated drinks are not good for health and thus avoid drinking it completely. If I don’t have it, I thought it would be wrong on my part to ask people to consume it. It would have been complete cheating,” he admits.
Sangram further adds, “The company tried luring by saying that all actors, sportsperson endorse soft drinks, hence I should also toe the line. But I have always been clear that I am not here just to earn money. I also want to spread positive messages around. Health should be worshipped.”
We further questioned Sangram that will he never endorse products, to which he quips, “I am open to advertise chawanprash, honey, milk and anything that is natural and healthy. It’s very important to eat healthy and I am ready to promote good living always (smiles).”
