Team of SAB TV’s Taarak Mehta ecstatic to shoot with mega star Amitabh Bachchan

While actors opt to promote their 70mm films on the small screen, thereby reaching out to the household audience, SAB TV’s ace show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (Neela Telefilms) seems to be the favourite amongst the bollyites.

While the show has witnessed presence of superstars like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, it will host a mega blockbuster episode with mega star Amitabh Bachchan on the sets to promote his upcoming film Bhootnath Returns.

While it was dream come true moment for the king of comedy, Kapil Sharma to shoot with BIG B on Comedy Nights with Kapil, we wonder what magic the shehensha of Bollywood will create on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

We contacted Shailesh Lodha –who essays the role of a narrator and the central character of Taarak Mehta on the show – and he said, “It was an amazing experience shooting with Amitabhji. The way he shoots for his scenes proves why he is Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. He is passionate, agile and vivacious. We shot together for 3 hours but not even a single minute passed where he rested his foot. He was constantly rehearsing with us for every single dialogue. I have earlier been a host for an event for Amitabh Bachcha, but sharing screen space with him is like a dream come true experience for me.”
