Shah Rukh Khan approached to host Stardust awards on Colors

Shah Rukh Khan and Stardust have never known to have shared a cordial equation ever since the popular film magazine published an alleged defamatory article about the actor about a decade back. In fact, such was SRK’s grouse that he had stopped giving interviews to Stardust. And being in King Khan’s bad books also meant the absence of his star power at Stardust awards which he never attended as a mark of protest.

However, news now trickles in that the magazine has finally been able to mend fences with King Khan. Sources say that recently the owner of Stardust, Nari Hira, visited SRK at Mannat where they bonded over tea and snacks. Since much water had flown down the bridge since the unsavoury article, both Nari Hira and SRK decided to let bygones be bygones and shook hands to renew a new era of friendship.

Now after turning friends, SRK sources suggest, has reportedly agreed to not just attend but also host this year’s Stardust awards. As of now SRK’s dates are being worked out and it is believed that the superstar would be free to host the show in the first week of March.

Popular television channel Colors have partnered with Stardust this time. When buzzed a channel spokesperson, she chose not to divulge any detail.
