Nupur Joshi and Chirag Thakkar in Life OK’s Savdhan India

It’s always a wonderful feeling to get back to what you like doing the most and actress Nupur Joshi is letting a similar feeling sink in.

Today is Nupur’s first day on the sets of Life OK’s Savdhan India (Saregama India Ltd.), post her long break from acting.

For the uninitiated, the actress played a lead role in Zee TV’s Rakhi. But she took a break from work post her wedding with Major Sunil Pundir.

“Yes, I am back after a long break. Since my husband is posted in Manipur I had been hopping between Delhi (her hometown) and Manipur for a longtime. But this project came my way at the right time hence, I took it up. I also liked the story,” confessed the actress.

This particular story is about Sharan (Nupur Joshi), an NRI Punjabi girl who comes down to India to get married to an Indian boy.

The character of the Indian groom Harry is being essayed by Chirag Thakkar of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain fame.

As the story progresses, Sharan realises that she has fallen in a trap chalked by her husband. This is exactly when she begins fighting him.

We couldn’t get through to Chirag.
