Actor Hemant Choudhary gears up to play Kripacharya in Star Plus’ Mahabharat
Actor Hemant Choudhary who is presently seen essaying the role of Mahamantri Udyan in Zee TV’s Buddha will now enter Siddharth Tewary’s magnum opus mythological saga on Star Plus, Mahabharat.
The talented actor will essay the role of Kripacharya, and his track will open up from this week. Hemant had earlier played the very important character of Raghunath Singh in Zee TV’s Jhansi Ki Rani.
When contacted, Hemant told us, “It is a privilege to play the role of Kripacharya. I have been training and shooting for Mahabharat for the past three months. And now I am looking forward for my track to unfold. All of us associated with Mahabharat have put in great efforts to get into the skin of the characters, and I look forward to a good response from audience.”
As per sources, a known actor had bagged the role of Kripacharya, but owing to date issues, the actor had to back out of the show. This is when the role was grabbed by Hemant.
Kripacharya is an important character of Mahabharat, and happens to be one of the seven immortals. He fought the great battle of Kurukshetra from the side of the Kauravas.
We wish Hemant all the luck for his new project.
