Sriti Jha quits Balika Vadhu, Sargun Mehta comes in as replacement

Big changes are being made by the creatives of Balika Vadhu (Colors).

We have learnt that actress Sriti Jha aka Ganga has decided to move out of the above show. Yes, she is out of the project, much to the disappointment of her fans.

Media reported that Sriti was not happy with the way her character was shaping up and was creatively unsatisfied. Hence she took this decision.

“She wants to further spread her wings and challenge herself as an actor,” said a source.

Hence, with Sriti bidding adieu, Sargun Mehta has been signed on by the makers (Sphere Origins) to play the part of Ganga henceforth.

Said an elated Sargun: “Yes, I am very happy. This is one show I have always wanted to be a part of. It is a respectable show which I have followed since my college days. I never thought I would get offered such a role as Ganga is very docile and homely and I am very chirpy and outgoing in real life. I am excited about my stint in Balika Vadhu.”

Sargun has started shooting for the show.

    Sriti i hate u yar.. Kyu kiya tumne aisa? U and shashank were awsm i nevr missd a single scene of jagan.
    Sargun doesnt suits to jagya yar.. Jab tum dono ek dusre ko dekhte the na that moment was cant be exprs… 1st nov episod is nice

    Is this history repeating, when anandhi married shiv & all confusions settled, pratyusha left to be replaced by toral, now the same with sriti ja. Everything finally seems right for jagang & shriti is being replaced by sargun. Toral took a long time to adjust to her character, & i dont think she’s still upto the mark as pratyusha. Hopefully sargun has better luck…

    Miss u Sriti jha . Hope that very soon ek new serial main tumko main lead role e dekh sakhe . All the best for that . But no one can play the character of Ganga just like u .

    I thnk sriti dont want to be a parallel lead as anandi is main lead…n nw there will be more fewer scenes of jagan as nw sanchi’s case is settled…

    i hate that sargun…she is totally dull actress.. i was watching this serial only because of sriti…but sriti disappointed us.

      sargun is no match at all for the role of ganga,,, she is sooo dull , wax model ………. she is lethargic !!!!

    And pratyusha is replaced for good.i hate her.toral is a better looking actress than pratyusha and also in acting.But will miss sriti…
