Kunti hearing from Nakul about the danger hovering around Pandu’s head runs to search his husband and his second wife, sensing something. Pandu and Madri looses their control over each other and consummate which results in Pandu’s death due to the curse. Kunti stood spellbound seeing her husband in the death bed.

Satyavati who wanted to meet her grandson to take him back in Hastinapur, her chariot stops in the midway seeing her people standing in between the road. Then her eyes tell on the dead body of her grandson and she faints.

Krishna’s Saying

Seeing someone suffering for his sin feels strange when your heart knows that he did try to redeem as much as possible and change him. When he has already redeemed by every means then why he should get punished? But where there is hurt there has to be punishment. If you give love to someone you will get happiness in return but if you kill someone you will get death. Does that mean redemptions doesn’t hold any value in life? Yes it has. It makes a man hard, it prepares a man to overcome the punishment.

Pandu’s sons prepared his death bed when Satyavati remembered her moments with Santanu when he told her that when a person used catch what he is capable of instead of grabbing something which he cannot manage when Satyavati hooked the golden fish. It was Satyavati who did not let bhisma to be the king of Hastinapur so that her son becomes king and experience everything in the kingdom. It was only her greed that she was seeing what she was not suppose to see. Being older seeing her younger one lying in the death bed, what can be worse than this?

Kunti was feeling sad about the whole thing when Madhri suddenly took a stand and took her life stating it was entirely her fault that they had to face such a harsh reality. They lost their husband and became window. Madhri confessed that she was always jealous of Kunti and compared. But Kunti always had been a winner. Madhri also said Kunti will love Madhri’s sons more than her. Kunti refused to give permissions to madhri to sacrifice her life as Kunti was his first wife and it was her right to get burnt with her husband. But little she knew that madhri already took that decision and died in kunti’s arms. Finally they burnt both their bodies together and his sons stood numb.

Vidur met Yudhishtira and told him that if he don’t cry then these tears would become like a stone to which Yudhisthira said he will but only at night when he will be alone. if he cries right now his brother would breakdown which he doesn’t want. Vidur asked Arjun why he wasnot crying to which he replied if he cries then his elder brother would be never believe him. From today onwards their elder brother would be like their father.

Satyavati was happy to hear such lovely thought and she blessed him saying to remain like that with each other forver. Vidur embraced all of them ordering them to cry and feeling heavy all clutched each other and cried sadly.

Whole hastinapur was sad hearing about pandu’s dimisal.They stopped their work to give condolence to his soul.

Vidur asked Kunti to bord the chariot along with Pandavas while he asks Satyvati to come along.

Satyavati told vidur that it was time for her to leave the rajmahal. She wanted to go into vanprastha. She also confessed that she couldnot keep the tradition an writeous things due to her wants for which she was soley responsible for Kuruvansha’s downfall. She announced that she wont be coming along with Kunti and Kuntiputras to hastinapur leaving Vidur spell shocked.
