Gustakh Dil 25th October 2013 Written Episode
The Episode starts with Barkha asking Lajjo not to wear the clothes which her parents has sent for her. Lajjo is shocked. She gets hurt by Barkha’s and Nani’s comments about her family. Lajjo takes her parcel. She hugs the parcel. Barkha stares at her. Lajjo says forgive me, these gifts are not valuable to you, I know the people work here won’t wear these clothes, but in my view, these gifts are much valuable and priceless. She says this came from my dad’s hard earned money, I know how they managed to buy these items, this is not a gift, its their love and blessings for me. She says I have two sisters and my parents would have not listened to their demands and they had to buy things for you all and me. Lajjo gets emotional and cries.
Barkha and Nani are unmoved her her sentimental words. They don’t understand Lajjo’s feelings. Lajjo says I can’t insult this gifts. Shaila looks on. Lajjo goes to her room. Barkha tells Nani did you hear what she said. Nani says how rude. Lajjo comes to her room and cries. Lajjo thinks how Nani had insulted the gifts sent by her parents. She says why did you send this mum. She thinks of her mum and cries. Nikhil comes to Lajjo and asks her to open the door.
Gunjan comes there and says I think Lajjo slept. Nikhil says I know her, she is very upset. Gunjan says the maid said Lajjo did not have the dinner. Nikhil says how can mum do this, its unbelievable. She says yes, Chaya told me what happened at home. Gunjan asks Nikhil not to talk to Barkha about this. He says this was not right, do something, talk to her, make her mood good, cheer her up.
Gunjan promises that she will see what she can do. Nikhil leaves. Nikhil comes to his room and is tensed because of Lajjo. He sees a gift kept for him. He gets a card from Mayank with the crackers. He says I forgot its Diwali tomorrow. He thinks of the past. Everyone at home are celebrating diwali by burning crackers. Nikhol comes there. Nikhil tells Gunjan to give her headphones to him. She does not listen. He says I have some urgent work. She says I m busy. Nikhil takes her with him. She gives her headphones to him.
Ishaana is lighting the diyas at her home. Nikhil sees her getting disturbed by the sounds. He smiles seeing her and comes to her. He makes her wear the headphones. She talks to him freely and says I hate this sounds etc. Nikhil says this is diwali. She says diwali does not mean this. She speaks loudly. He says volume… She says oh, I was wondering… Nikhil and Ishaana gets closer and music plays… She says Nikhil, you don’t have to do all this. He says do what. She says I mean you can celebrate diwali with everyone, he says you are right, I don’t want to, I don’t like all this. She asks how do you want to celebrate. He says with you, diwali means Ishaana for me, as you are my happiness. He hugs her. Ishaana wishes him happy diwali. He comes in his present.
The next morning, Lajjo thinks its diwali, so how can I be sad. She gets ready. Gunjan comes to her. Gunjan wishes her happy diwali. Lajjo wishes her the same. Gunjan says you look very happy. Lajjo says yes, its a good day today. She says happiness is the medicine of all worried. Gunjan says you look very beautiful when you smile. Lajjo thanks her. Gunjan says Nikhil and I came yesterday to talk to you, Nikhil was upset and wanted to make you smile, but maybe you slept. Lajjo says why are you saying me this, he might have been worried. She says you and your brother don’t worry about me, I m very happy in this house. She asks how is my new saree. Gunjan says beautiful.
Gunjan says something is missing. She applies the bindi. She says come on, have to show you something, I brought so many colors to make Rangoli. Lajjo asks who will make it. Chaya says Usha is not coming to make Rangoli. Lajjo comes there and says I will make the rangoli. Gunjan and Lajjo have a bet on it. Rishi says its fine, the problem is solved. Gunjan says I will cut your hair if you fail in making good hair. Lajjo says no holding her hair. Gunjan laughs.
