My fans like my new look and character in Sasural Simar Ka – Rohit Khurana

Rohit Khurana is currently enjoying playing the free-spirited character of Shaurya in Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka (Rashmi Sharma Productions) as this role lets him experiment as an actor.

Yes, the actor likes adding his own creative colour and when he gets to do so, he is more than happy.
“I like characters where I have the freedom to add to my style – like Shaurya has certain nuances like twisting his neck saying ‘shut up’ as ‘shuud up’ or using the word ‘what crap’. I have added all of these to my character. None of this was a part of the script,” said the actor.

Has he always belonged to the creative league of actors who like adding a bit of their creativity in everything they do? “I have always tried adding something or the other to my characters when I have got the chance. But I do not interfere in the script without a reason. I only suggest a thing if I find something too illogical, but the final call is always of the creatives on the sets.”

Will you be adding some more elements to your character in the upcoming episodes? “I am a very unpredictable actor; hence I do not know how I will behave or react in the episodes to come. All of it completely depends on the script.”

As we know, Sasural Simar Ka is a house full of talented actors. Hence, we asked Rohit if he was skeptical about being a part of such a show and he promptly replied, “I am not overconfident, but I am definitely very confident about my performance in any show. I knew that I will pull this off.”
Lastly, talking about the feedback that he has received till date he averred, “My fans like my new look and character.”
