Harshali Zine who was recently seen playing a cameo of Tanvi in Shashi Sumeet Mittal’s popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum has filed a complaint against eve teasing after she faced it few days back. While walking down on the streets of Mumbai city the pretty actress encountered a guy who eve teased Harshali. She then took her steps towards the nearby police station and filed a complaint against the guy.
When contacted Harshali to know about the incident, she told us, “It happened with me 4 days back while I walking down on the Back Road of Lokhandwala. It was around 11:30 at night and a guy came on a scooty and he stopped nearby me. He started telling me that he was observing me from past few days and he wants to talk to me. Even I told him many times to let me go but he didn’t agree and kept on saying this to me. So, I told him that I am going to call the police now. There was a curfew just 2 minutes away from the Back road but the guy still dared follow me and kept on asking the same. I called the police control room but the number was busy so I had to walk up to the police van which was nearby and they took me to the police station where I filed an FIR.”
Harshali further added, “Firstly, the guy didn’t trust me when I told him that I am calling the police but when I showed him that I am actually dialing the number, then he got scared and ran away on his scooty and I noted down his scooty no. immediately. I was there in the police station till 12:30 AM all alone. The cops were enquiring to me about everything and they took my address, signature and other details as well . They were also surprised to know that inspite of the curfew, how did he manage to misbehave with a girl? The cops then informed through all the wireless system that whether the guy is still roaming around nearby or not.”
“I have stopped walking on the Back Road now because I stay alone here and I have to take care of myself. A girl should never be scared of filing a complaint against anyone if she faces this kind of a situation. The police is very helpful and they are there to help us. I was alone in the police station that night but they helped me a lot and they also helped me to reach home safely. Girls should try not to hangout alone,” concludes Harshali.
