Charlie Chauhan to play Arjun-Purvi’s daughter in Pavitra Rishta

Balaji Telefilms’ Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV is gearing up for a generation leap that will take the story ahead by 18-20 years.

After roping in Karan Mehra to play the lead opposite the younger Ankita Lokhande, the makers have now zeroed in on Charlie Chauhan of Best Friends Forever fame to play Arjun (Rithvik Dhanjani) and Purvi’s (Asha Negi) daughter in the show.

Yes, you heard it right!! Recently there were media reports that Charlie has been locked for a certain character in Balaji Telefilms’ Sony TV show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. However, the new development is that she will play Pari in Pavitra Rishta. Her character is that of a spoilt brat who loves her luxuries to the core; she flaunts her richness and enjoys life to the fullest. She will be Arjun and Purvi’s over-pampered daughter.

If sources are to be believed, Ankita Lokhande in the post leap story line might play the daughter of the angry-young man, Sohum (Ankit Narang). She will have a younger brother Prashant, which will be essayed by Nishant Raghuwanshi. For the uninitiated, Nishant has earlier been part of shows on Zee TV, Chhoti Si Zindagi and Hitler Didi.

Also, Vikrant Chaturvedi who has done movies like Gadar, Netaji – The Forgotten Hero and few more has been roped in to play father to Karan Mehra. As per media reports, Sheeba Chaddha will be playing Karan’s mother.

When contacted, Charlie Chauhan told us, “Well, I have given my auditions and am waiting to know the results. I am not aware of any development.”

We tried calling Vikrant Chaturvedi, but could not get through to him.

    Rose, there is no rule that bciz purvi is so good, park shud be. Purvi wad raised by single mom, and has been tough times. Park is d of a rich business man. Though her mom understands, its not easy for kids to understand. So alls normal and happens everywhere.

    ekta u runing the show purvi is very simple she even managed to changed arjun and her daughter is spoiled like plzzzzzzzz tell me ovi daughter is a bratttt not purvi are u guys thinking before u start another story like why would purvi grow her daughter to be a bratt then she is not a good mom like tink twice so stupid
