Vishal Kotian excited to play Super Villain in Life OK’s Shapath
The makers of Life OK’s Shapath (Fireworks Productions), who are thrilled with their show gaining maximum TRPs, have roped in Vishal Kotian to play a Super Villain in the show.
Confirming the news to us, Vishal says, “Yes I am essaying the role of a Super Villain. I am excited to do the show because it’s different. Earlier I have always done comedy or a boy next door kind of characters.”
According to our source, the story of the episodic in which Vishal will be seen, is based on an underdog boy falling in love with a girl but gets rejected by her as he is very poor and unstable. The story unfolds when suddenly he encounters an electric shock after which he gets super powers. Now, that he becomes powerful, he seeks revenge from the people who took him for granted and also from the girl who had rejected him earlier.
So what interested him to take up the show?
“Generally, investigative and thriller kind of shows are based on the concepts of showing various suspects out of which one is a criminal while Shapath works on the concept of Super Cops v/s Super Villains. Viewers already know who is the criminal but the show still keeps them hooked because of the storyline. Apart from that, this is the first time I am essaying the role of a villain,” he adds.
Vishal, who is currently playing Hanuman in Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev (Triangle Films) claims that he is thankful to all the makers he is associated with for offering him roles which add variation to his talent as an actor. He also appreciates the acceptance he has got from audiences and is banking upon these shows.
