The episode starts with JethaLal saying bye to Daya and leaves. He sees Babita and greets her. Iyer comes and says she is going to buy the rakhi. Jethalal thinks it is good that he is going to Ahmedabad or else Babitaji would have tie the rakhi to him. Babitaji asks what he is thinking. Dadya says he is thinking about Rakhi. She tells them that we are going to Ahmedabad for the Raksha bandhan. Jethalal says Sundar is not coming for the Raksha bandhan, so we are going to meet him. Babitaji says so sweet of you and tells Iyer to learn with JethaLal. Iyer says you never asked me to take you to Kolkata. JethaLal says ladies don’t tell anything, we have to realise their wishes. Babita says yes. Daya asks JethaLal to book the tickets. Jethalal leaves.

He asks Babitaji to come along with him till Abdul’s shop. Madhavi asks Daya, when is Sundar coming. Daya says she got a call from him saying he was busy so can’t come but Jethalal is taking me to Ahmedabad. She says Jethalal can’t see her pain and decided to take her. komal says we will miss you on Raksha bandhan day. Daya too feels sad and says but she have to go anyway. She asks when you people are going now. Komal says we are going to give these rakhi to Abdul so that he can courier it. Daya says she will go now as she have to make the arrangement for going to Ahmedabad.

Bhaga and Natu kaka comes to Jethalal and asks what work you have? Jethalal tells them that they are going to Ahmedabad tomorrow morning and asks them to book the tickets. Natu kaka says it is very difficult to get the tickets urgently. And if he gets, then it will be very costly. Jethalal says ok and asks them to book the tickets anyhow as Daya is eager to go to Ahmedabad to tie the Rakhi to Sundar. Bhaga says he will get the tickets surely.

Popatlal hugs bhide and says he got a call about his alliance. He can’t concentrate on work and his heart is beating fast. Bhide says it is not good for your heart to work fast as it is not good in this age. Popatlal gets angry.

Daya calls Sundar and informs him that she sent his Rakhi through special courier. Sundar says her sorry for not coming to her house. Daya plans to give him surprise. Daya tells him to give the call to their mum. Sundar says he is outside and will call her after going home. Daya feels happy as she will surprise Sundar. She packs her bags and says maa and Sundar will be happy and surprised. She asks Jethalal to come fast.

She asks about the tickets. Jethalal says he kept the tickets. Jethalal asks Daya to keep the shawl which he brought for his mum in law. Daya says you always respects my mum and always brings gift for her whenever we go to Ahmedabad. Jethalal says we should always respect our elders. Babuji comes and says you said right and asks Tappu to remember this always. He tells Tappu that one should get rich by his values and not by the money. Jethalal agrees. Tappu says he will always remember. Daya tells Babuji that she had prepared food for him. Jethalal says she wake up at 5 pm and prepared breakfast, lunch everything for you. Babuji gets happy. She says she prepared theplas and chutni for the dinner.

Babuji asks her not to worry about his meals. She tells Tappu to take care of Babuji. Tappu obliges. Tappu tells he and Dadaji will enjoy this vacation. Jethalal tells Babuji that Tappu is fun loving. Sodi comes and asks Jethalal to come as the car is ready to go to the airport. Daya and Jethalal meets Taarak and Anjali and sits in the car.

Sundar says he will give surprise to his sister and jijaji and says aloud Behna I am coming.

Taarak’s message:
Raksha bandhan brought the surprise at the society. As Daya behen and Sundar are thinking to surprise each other but they will get surprise themself. What will happen now.

Precap:
Sundar calls Daya and tells her that he came to Mumbai to give her surprise. Daya says she came to Ahmedabad to surprise him. Jethalal gets angry. Sundar says he will reach there after catching the next flight. Daya says mahurat is till 3:30 pm. Sundar says we will take the boat and meet in the river.
