Poonam to celebrate Independence Day in style in Star Plus’ Ek Ghar Banaunga
Star Plus’ Ek Ghar Banaunga, produced by Village Boy Productions will celebrate the occasion of India’s Independence in a grand manner. The maha episode which will be aired this Saturday (17 August 2013) will have a patriotic fervour to it, and of course will be intermixed with some high-voltage drama.
So what will viewers get to see in the maha episode? Well, to begin with, Akash (Rahul Sharma) and Poonam (Ishita Dutta) will propose to celebrate Independence Day in the same manner in which Poonam used to celebrate it in her hometown Lucknow. They chalk out a plan and get the approval of the Garg family, which does not go well with the elder bahu of the house Kannu (Salina). While Poonam’s ideas get the go-ahead, Kannu’s irrelevant plans get dismissed by the entire house. Even when Kannu tries her best to ruin Poonam’s preparations for the day, Poonam plans to invite the entire mohalla to celebrate the day with them.
Understanding the right meaning of the day, Poonam decides to help the needy by gifting them with money and food. Also she invites little children and helps them out. Kannu is not able to digest the importance Poonam is being given in the household, and she decides to bring in a misunderstanding between Akash and Poonam by coming out with the truth of Manish who misbehaved with Prarthna (Prachi Parab).
Will Poonam’s Independence day plans hit a roadblock? Or will Kannu’s plans get misfired?
When contacted, Narendra Jha who essays the role of Shashikant Garg, father of the male lead says, “This maha episode will be a fast-paced one with quite a lot happening. Ek Ghar Banaunga is being appreciated by viewers now, and we have created a new time slot. This maha episode is indeed not to be missed.”
Also, Poonam will see to it that she credits her family members before the press for giving her an opportunity to celebrate the day in the way she wants.
